Not at all. I haven't even hit EGO 1000 yet because I work so much and also sneak in a teeny bit of play with my other games. I also spend quite a bit of my Defiance play time horsing around with my friends and Clan members, so I don't get bored with the content that is currently out.

I've played tons of MMOs over the years and expansions are often very slow to release. I would prefer they follow that typical model and make sure that the game is working well before they cram an expansion onto it. Since you seem to have a ton of free time for gaming (an observation, not a dig), why don't you play another game for a bit and then come back to this one when the DLC comes out?

No, not at all, for two reasons:

    1. I found that Neverwinter Online is a wonderful free, "Beer and Pretzels" game, to keep yourself amused, while waiting for new Defiance content.

    2. I never bought the season pass. I'd rather wait until all the "promised" content is released, and it's all bundled at a post-season special price. Which will inevitably happen, since Trion needs to get money out of the customers, whom thought the initial $39.99 price was too high... which I agree, is too damn high!

How can you suggest the price is too high, when you haven't seen any of it yet?

Since when, does one need proof to make an irrational comment on an Internet forum? (e.g. most of the posts on this forum. )

Besides, how much are you willing to pay for a promise?

Value, is of course, always incredibly subjective, especially something unseen, but stating that something is either too high, or too low, with no concrete information, is a bit premature.

It's like the mystery box, could be a speedboat, could be a goat. I got my season pass on sale for <30$ so I'm fairly certain I will get my moneys worth, even if it's a goat. The cost won't make/break me, I spend more on booze that I'm finished in a few hours before I cry myself to sleep each night.

Why would you be mad at that. I don't see the problem with that. It will be up to you If you want to pay to charge your race or just make a New one for free as the new race.

I will admit that I have not purchased the DLCs because I'm waiting on when it will come out. I have a basic understanding of some of the things that will be included in the DLC but there could always be more added to it.

And, I wouldn't bet that you'll get a free customization when the DLC launches. They will mostly force you into purchasing the customization option or re-roll a character.

I'd assumed that the regular DLC wouldn't be coming until after the tv season ended. Of course, I'd also assumed the tv crossover content would be somewhat more substantial. Regardless, with 5 DLCs scheduled before the next season, and anticipating time in the schedule to play the last content before the 2nd season launches, I figured they would probably be something like 6 to 8 weeks apart so it doesn't seem late to me.

I haven't paid for the Season Pass. Given the price of the outfits currently in the store, my expectations for a $10 paid DLC were pretty low. They said the Season Pass will still be available later, and I'd rather find out what I'm actually paying for and make sure there is enough content to justify the price before I spend any more money.
