Rift no layoffs.

So i would imagine most those layoffs were defiance related, well you can always kill hellbugs in rift now.

This doesn't really mean anything. There's always a layoff for every company post release of a title. There's oodles of temporary and contractual staff working on a project leading up to its release. Once the product is release and stabilized, there's just loads of extra manpower just sitting around. People like to incite panic and report on it (read: Yellow Journalism). This is just how the business goes.
