Sadly, this^^. It really is pathetic at this point.

Too much waiting they need to get ahead and stay ahead call me impatient but all of us did pay $60 for this game
I best be able to play freight yard when these server come back on hahahaha ;)
I also remember a "official" post stating that the DLC would be postponed until after the game crippling bugs/issues were addressed, this post was within the first two weeks of game release.
IMO that DLC is sorely needed to keep any decent forward momentum of this game, many players have beat the campaign and side missions, and adding fresh new content will help keep this game profitable for Trion, by keeping players invested in the game.
Even if the DLC was released on time, if more DLC does not arrive on a regular and consistent basis, I believe the player base will not be retained and the potential for generating DLC sustaining revenue will suffer.
Really trying not to sound pessimistic, but I don't think this game is gonna make it past 2013. When you fire about half your staff ( all senior positions I must mention) historically does'nt bode well for the future of the game. WellIm glad I didn't purchase the season pass.
You guys whining about downtime during patches need to understand this is how MMOs work. WoW for instance has 7+ hours of scheduled downtime most tuesdays for maintenance and patches usually go for longer than that. The fact kids are whining about 2.5 hours of downtime is a joke. Some of you just whine for the sake of *****ing.
I am in no way a doom sayer but i do have to agree with you. Some new content or at the least weekly episode mission untill the dlc drops is badly needed. I realy enjoy the game but there are many feeling burnt out or up on it. And with the recent news about the layoffs.
And noreal info other than sledges one post. The ground is shakey to say the least. But whats even sadder is it dosnt have to be if they would just give alittle more info on the support for the game and the new content.
Again just my oppion but they are kinda hurting themselves.
The amount of time the patching takes honestly has little to do with how large the patch is. In today's world installing a patch that's a few MB's, or a patch that's a few GB's, is nearly the same. What takes time.
1. Bringing everything off line
2. Backups (if run)
3. Service/Server Restarts (probably the longest part depending on how they do backups.)
4. Internal QA.
While the QA process could be larger for a larger patch, really it should be very similar whether the patch has many fixes or just a few.
