Same here Duskky. The PS4 also has some games that I'd play and it has the live stream feature which I'd show to freind's as a viewing demo. Still Xbox at E3 might blow us away but it would have to be big for me.

Let's see how well live streaming really works when it's reliant on actual Internet infrastructure.... I wonder if it will automatically downgrade resolution if needed...

I'll be getting them both. But since I heard either one of them is backward capable, I wont be getting either one for a while after release. Give them time to get the bugs out and have a bunch of games out for them. Maybe like when the ps4 slim or whatever comes out.

E3 will come and go.. no matter what they show for cg game movies, the xbox hardware is severely limited in ability compared to ps4.. Sony will again outlast the competitor with hardware, allowing developers greater potential for a longer period of time, again...

it does matter what games they get, and how they play, but from a "all in one box" point of view.. welcome to the 3 generation old stuf sony has already been doing with their consoles, microsoft...

basically, sony only needs to focus on publisher support at this time, and improve their install base by an aggressive, informative advertisement campaign. They could easily do a whole "taste test" series on it and win by that alone as consumers tend to do little to no research and simply make purchases on what people say is good (without that product actually needing to be good..). Microsoft has made terrible hardware products for years now.. (except the surface pro.. this is actually well made) this is their last chance, imo, to make a console that won't catch fire.. at least they tried to solve the whaling banshee noises from the console...

How about just about every major release the past 2 years being stolen or leaked? It's been console versions of these games too not the PC versions because they are typically encrypted until they are supposed to be launched.

    PS4's looking way better since
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbWgUO-Rqcw
effectively excludes me, my interests, and what I look for in a gaming console. :P

But either way it will be a bit until I see a good library of games that interest me. Frankly I'm not done with the PS3 era yet, though. <.<

this is the issue many are having, while the ps3 most certainly could last another decade, if not more, sony is essentially forced into releasing a new console anytime somebody else says they will launch one.. it's like a "cold war" of consoles.

recall how until not too long ago ps2 games were still being made? or that no matter what xbox posts for sales on the 360, even the ps2 smokes it? It seems the PS hardware is almost always more advanced in a few ways than we are ready for. Had developers been able to understand system246 on the ps2, or worked hard to use the cell proc on the ps3 (the OS got in the way of that) intel and amd systems would by now see much more use of their multicore architectures. in all, the transition from ps3 to 4 isn't exactly massive, with the exception of ram and a slight bump to gfx processing, the rest we already have. I am glad I will be able to freely swap out my hdd's, and then use my bank of externals on top of that, I hope sony does a much better job with the OS this time around.

They better have an incredible E3 in a few weeks.

Feel the same. I bet E3 they will talk about how you can play FB games or something. Or how you can sync up your windows phone through your XB1 and play your phone games on the TV.

I thought they left something out when they showed xbox one. The onboard ESRAM, pretty much levels the field. granted the overall power/bandwidth favors the ps4, but the xbox one will be able to do many more small things simultaneously, while the ps4 will be able to perform larger tasks better. net feeling, don't think that either will be supreme over the other, but still sticking with xbox. not to mention that many of the European tv providers have stated that they WILL be open to continue working with microsoft in making the xbox one compatible with their services.
