There will be war. [Episode 6 Spoiler]
So Eddie said that a wars coming with or without Pol Mads. That bomber Casti guy. So how will this affect the game? Maybe we'll be able to chose a faction to side with? E rep vs VC? personally I'd go with the VC from what Pol said they offer better things haha. What's your opinion on this war eddie spoke of?

Ill side with Echelon, stay neutral while making a profit. The E-Reps seem like pricks, both representatives so far, so Im ashamed of the human government. As for the Votanis, meh.

That's true, Echelon will fight for who ever pays the most, they might even fight for both sides since Varus said they have casualties fees. If two Echelon kill each other both sides pay a casualty fee lol

The E-Reps and Votanis plan on waging war again.
Defiance is a town where all races coexist.
Theyll most likely get caught in the cross-fire of the two superpowers.
Theres something underneath Defiance, possibly Terraforming technology greater than the one found in the Bay Area.
The events that unfolded in Fort Defiance repeat themselves.

    (Random Prediction)

Lol, the entire Defiance tv show plot has been unraveled.

But the thing under defiance and the cave markings, that gold Ark tech that Rafe McCawley found in his dead sons drawer. If I'm not mistaken the cave wall showed what seemed to be a Volge holding a gold and silver arktech device. Maybe its actually some kind of weapon? maybe Arkcore/Ark Matrix like in the game but I doubt that old hag mayor whats to save the world with it or have the knowledge to do it

Whatever shes planning involves killing everyone in Defiance, although she said there might be survivors. Im guessing shes planning on Terraforming the area or if its powerful enough, the world back to how it was before.

my prediction theory from the latest episode revolves around the possibility of there being a functional remote terminal for the activation of terraspires left remaining in orbit. Why else would both the e-rep and the VC be overly interested in a town like defiance? all they got going for them is a working gulanite mine (and apparently, gulanite flows like lava underneath the surface so it must be fairly common across all terraformed regions. so, it really makes no sense for both of these govermental factions to focus their attentions on the town unless there is the posibility of a game changer buried somewhere beneath the town.

as with all theories, when new tidbits are revealed, the theory gets rewritten to fit the facts at hand.

The current facts of the show lead me to believe that what ex-mayor Nikki, the being formerly known as burke (now taking a hot gulanite bath), the e-rep, and the Votanis Collective are after....is power in the form of the ability to command the most destructive force since the atomic bomb. He who controlls a thing, becomes THE defining power for everyone and every governing body left on this mudball.

or, it's just a rouge VI that has a lot of info that both sides want....either way, it's to tip the balance of percieved power in the favor of one or the other...

    1811
Quentin McCawley says the drawings on the cave wall, where the artifact came from, date back to 1811. Implying that a sect of Votan colonists arrived much earlier than the collective fleet arrival in 2013.

My prediction is that they were Irathient cultists, who arrived 200 years before their prophet was born, to prepare for her arrival. The artifact is the key to a Irathient teraforming device, that would create a forest/eden-equese world like their home planet.

Nolan and Irisa will be driven in-doors and underground by the razor rain. They will then scooby-doo the plot, have everything handed to them nicely, uncover the secret in the nick of time, and be forced to make the moral decision to either teraform the world or live in the world of Defiance... after much turmoil, they will destroy the device, someone will cry, someone will get shot, and we will never get to see an Infector in the show.
