It's a caustic goop.
I converted a CS-X with a mag converter with that symbol, works great as an ammo in general.
I'm not a pistol kinda pony, otherwise I'd be all over that.
Word is that that was in an early version of the beta, and just now being shoehorned in in a few places.
i thought the goop (the black stuff) was the blue biohazard symbol does the green goop like combine it and the acid?
It was a nano effect from early alpha/beta that has since been abandoned; it now functions exactly the same as the radioactive stuff.Quote:

Pretty sure it was the same nano effect in beta. It used to look like that after release as well. It just got changed to a green bio symbol with one of the earlier patches. For some reason the one at the topnotch vendor still shows the old blob symbol.Quote:

It is the symbol shown in your post we're talking about.
It's not poison though, poison typically does damage over time. This nano effect (the blob symbol showing in your post, which is the same nano effect as the (new) green bio symbol) increases the damage enemies affected by it take from any source by 25%.
