How Do You Spend Your Time In Defiance

Hello all,

In column A, we have the Defiance haters. In column B we have the Defiance fanboys. I fit into column C... I really want to love Defiance and I want it to succeed, but feel like Trion is doing everything wrong. I honestly feel like they are pushing people away with slow responsiveness and a seriously confused bunch of development priorities.

So to the column B players out there... help me to get back into the game. Lately, I have logged, wandered around a bit. Maybe do an emergency. Can't bring myself to look for Pursuit Recorders. Probably do a PVP match or two, and then log. 45-60 minutes of gaming tops.

So tell me what you do when you log in! If you were to sit down to play for 3-4 hours, what does the agenda look like? What is the most fun for you?

Find a good clan. I spend most my time helping clannies or running co-ops and chatting on TS.

You neglect Column D, dear chap. Column D belongs to those of us who get on and just play the game.

My evening generally consists of:
Log in at The Crater, go kill the Hellbugs down the road. Nip over to Shondu's Consulate for no other reason than I'm facing that way.
Kill some stuff.
Do an Arkfall, maybe two. Depends how narked off I am with bugs (the Hellbugs, getting tired of damn Hellbugs) and a-holes in trucks.
Once 8pm (UK time) has rolled around, I'll check the new reputation contracts and do the ones I feel like (I don't do PvP and I rarely do co-op since most people play them as though they were PvP, and I also hate doing Dark Matter ones).

I can keep myself busy for several hours that way; far longer than I should spend stuck to a console anyway.
Honestly, if all you can b bothered with is a bit of PvP, then you should probably be playing a PvP game.

I enjoy PVP, and play shooters. But I am also into MMOs too, so Defiance sounded like a perfect fit. Keep in mind, I have done a great deal of the content and missions and logged a ton of time with the PVE material, so don't pigeon-hole me as a PVP'er that is playing the wrong game. I assure you that's not the case.

It actually sounds like you are playing much how I am... just following your gun barrel. Nothing wrong with that, but I wonder what sort of longevity that approach has.

Shameless self promotion I know, but it is what I mostly did yesterday.

When I'm bored of the usual arkfall/ co-op/ PVP. I do some recreational activity's such as:

Swimming
Mountain climbing
Joy riding
Rallying
Dancing
Strolling
Free running
Cloud watching
Star gazing
Watching the sunrise/sunset
Pow tipping
Chicken/pow decorating (with manual detonators)
Hell bug watching
Hell bug herding
Hell bug hatching

and many more
