Xbox servers pulled down? game wont launch!

hey all, i just tried to launch the game, i made it through the patch process np, then it went to the "loading screen" and an error box from the console says:

"There is an update required for this game and it is currently not available, plz contact xbox.com blah, blah, blah"

did they just drop the Bomb on this game and not tell anyone, its not like the "servers are down" issue, this is a "I dont know what the heck is going on error"

Anyone else? Im on the east coast in florida fyi if that makes a difference.

/facepalm.....

The servers will be down for 4 hours so play something else to pass the time

it happen to me to but now my xbox is stuck in a patch loop

How predictable, I knew you would take a look at my forum post and then comment on it.

I haven't been on these forums for at least 3 - 4 weeks due to being in a different country, socializing, having a life. I've only just come back on the forums about 3 days ago.

So not only have you just shown the people who actually bother reading this thread how much of a tool you are, but they will also understand you're just another stereotypical individual who bathes in ignorance.

how do you come to the forums and make a post about server status without first checking the "server status" section of the very same forums?
