They were quick to fix their problem but when it comes to one of our problems with the game they take their sweet time about it.

Some people tend to not see the big picture.
You guys talked about how you can log in and out to reclaim the items, giving you infinite reclaims, guessing some people already have done it many times over, yet you cross fingers and cry that it wont be a rollback and that Trion should let you keep your items, because "fack them" you deserve it.. right?

Second of all, people saying their kids can patch better and how they actually fixed this issue fast, while other issues is let be for a while, that's also rather common sense. : )
If the car sound a bit weird while driving you would probably check that out sooner or later, but if the car is on fire you might want to put it out right away.
I can bet your kid cant count to potato, and yes, its easy to change a few numbers in a value to get a result indeed, but it usually start a chain-reaction that you want under control and balanced out, its a bit harder to try to maintain the wanted chain-reaction.

All the horses is not in the stable here...better look elsewhere.

I just hope I can get my time reset on the boosts I got this morning. Didn't realize the patch was today. I only got to play about an hour before we went down and won't get to play again until tomorrow morning at the earliest...assuming the servers are back up.

All items will be rolled back, but I think with this downtime only mere 40-50 minutes after nearly 4 hours of downtime, Trion has some boosts for us.

Yeah, I fully admit that I am. It's just that seeing that series of messages immediately after seeing Sledge's post about the emergency maintenance just... it made it look like a 'well, that escalated quickly' situation.

Because people here complained the when they bothered doing post-production testing on 1.016

Trion is too weak willed to do proper post-production testing... they wanted to be prideful and do the update ASAP. Again their need to hit the street greatly out weighs any wisdom to do it right.

I bet these issues exist on their test/staging servers as well... and they just never tested all the "use-cases" on there either. They have horrible testing period.

Oh I know how you ment it all, its just how it looked. But I was really happy for it too I was like Hey look they gave me extra inventory slots! And then 15 minutes latter BOOM re-roll.

To be fair to the OP, had the post not been made, it wouldn't have been discovered as quickly. That would have meant way more time, and efforts rolled back. I think we should all thank you.

There was never any doubt a roll-back was going to happen.

At least most of us didn't have time to make any real progress that would have been baleeted.
I once had 6 races rolled back, and the server shut down right after I got my Black challenger, so thanks for not making me relive something similar.

FINALLY a little support! I knew it would get noticed sooner or later. And hopefully, yes, my post aided them in finding a solution sooner....but I doubt it.

yeah yeah yeah....who wants to bet that wasn't they only issue addressed? I would love if someone from the EU could confirm...but the Boost menu was glitching as well....and loadin/ego spam was back.
