Since this game is global, I could see this being a challenge, but since the majority of players are U.S. This upgrade/patch should have been applied overnight or by using some sort of activity report to find the deadest time. Fail over systems are a must. For a game that makes you play online, they should have a better contingency plan in place. While today's issues do not effect me, I'm still pretty embarrassed for Trion since they have not learned from their last patch mistakes and they are giving the impression of "to bad, they can wait". They do have our money already and we don't pay a monthly fee, but taking our money and continuing to produce the same patch mistakes over and over again is unacceptable. I feel bad for the players that dropped real $$ for bits to buy boosts only to have them drift away while hours of outage take place.
