"Duplication of items"

So... I'm assuming that this refers to the fact that post patch when I went into my 'claim items' in store I noticed that the rewards from entering the 120 arkfall codes had re appeared and were claimable again...

After spending the inventory slot unlocks I went to the boosts screen to see what boosts we'd been given too, which obviously crashed my xbox, due to the bug which has become apparent.

"Oh well these things happen, at least trion have handed out some bonuses to us all in anticipation of patch niggles" I said to myself... Then started the game up again, thinking the claim items might have been a bug, I checked and wasn't able to claim the inventory slots again.

Then the servers go down, for an unspecified duration, for them to fix this MASSIVE issue of us being given these minor boosts from the arkfall codes again?!?

Come on?! Seriously?! How about just leave the servers up, accept that we all got some crappy stuff for free and bask in the reciprocal good will from your player base?

I don't think they wanted to give bonuses so they will probably take them back. No good will here.

You know......." oh no there are things making our game crash and our update did not fix a lot of issues that we said it did......eh they can deal with it!" " What they are getting a lot of crappy items again for free? Hurry pull down the severs the sky is falling we have to fix that! "

They took it down because you normally have to pay for those kinds of boosts.

maybe its just a side effect of a bigger issue what would cause more harm on the long run ... who knows , maybe we get some more detailed official feedback why this was reason to shut down the whole game

what about the people who already claim there stuff will it be remove from there player?

They can boost us a bit, since the patch problems.
This will be clever, because time is the one resource you can not get back!

Yes, it's been confirmed there will be a rollback.

Someone posted a reply from Defiancegame twitter account saying that all claimed items will be rolled back. Not sure if it is 100% accurate info, but it would makes in this situation.

yup, there will be a roll back, no other way to sort it out logically.. i was suspicious after i got my boosts back from the ultimate edition
