Maybe Trion can give us some boost as compensation for the downtime. Of course viewing said boosts will cause your game to crash, so you will just have to take Trion's word that they are active. This solution is perfect!
If they didn't backup before the patch, its pure negligence on their part. It takes a LOT for me to quit a game, and usually downtime, rollbacks, etc won't do it. Principal does. If they don't have the time to make a backup before a major patch, I shouldn't be playing and they should be issuing me a refund for running an ameture setup after advertising it as professional.
I hope they don't roll back anything else. I had two great matches in Freight Yard before they took the servers down.
I'm half expecting them to blame Freight Yard for the item duplication and they remove it again.

you have to admit with all the problems and bugs the games has and still does , trion has never blame anyone else for the rocky start of the game. They took full blame for the failure to date, that speak volumes of them as a company. Good job trion please keep trying with this game it has a lot of potiential
Actually leaving it up would be incompetent. Rolling back something like this is actually a good thing.
I don't know if anyone is aware but there was a gold dupe on diablo 3 recently that everyone could do. They didn't do a rollback and the gold economy is pretty much gone because of it (they said they went through and individually audited every account and removed the excess gold, I say bullshtako because I know a few people that weren't affected) a lot of people were able to make some serious profit and upgrade their gear with ill gotten gains and blizzard didn't do anything about it.
They also took real life money sales from the RMAH and donated it to charity as well. So they stole from people who made legit trades as well as those that duped.
