now, I'm a little confused about arkfalls still, since I've only played for about 2 hours before this downtime. the wiki doesn't help much and also info about arkfall codes....Quote:

I get the final decision to play or not to play is based upon the individual making that/those choice/s. Two of my friends on xbox live in a party chat were discussing the servers and the record with trion. Im not mad at my two friends in any way. But basically for the last hour I was trying to talk them out of returning Defiance. So thats what I was doing. And no, i couldnt convince them not to. So I have 5 out of 12 people on my friends list that havent given up on the game. The other 7 all returned it, traded it, or sold it. 3 of those that returned it were people I met while playing Defiance. The deal breaker for my other 2 friends was today. Oh well. Time to go watch some Dexter I guess.
I had a free Redbox game rental so I was playing Metro: Last Light instead anyway.
Decent in spots, but without YouTube I'd still be stuck in spots. You are so stealthy that you can walk right behind some folks who, in real life, would have to be blind to not see you. This led to me not going right up to them and seeing the objective I was supposed to see.
Not bad. Decent weapons that NEED the upgrades you can buy. If ammo was plentiful I'd buy it eventually, but I blew hundreds of rounds of not-easily-replaced ammo on armored bugs and other stuff in one trip into a side-room. Redoing an entire chapter when you run dry and are stuck isn't my idea of a good use of my money.
Patch must be done now. Let's see if the server is running...
Edit: Nope. Patch error. Wonder if a reinstall is in my future...
Edit again: Second try at patch worked. Server? Nah...
