nice to have but unnecessary at this time
This is just my opinion and a lot of people are going to jump at the chance to argue this and that's fine since I won't be reading any if it. With this last patch Trion put a few things in the game that's nice to have like the time and date posted on the screen and now each district is labelled on the map screen and finally dam defense and freight yard have been put back in the game again. How long dam defense and freight yard are going to stay in the game is anybodies guess. But anyway, with all the bugs in the game do we REALLY need the map to have each district labelled on it, or do we REALLY need a time and date posted on the screen? Like I said, nice to have but there are still other issues that need to be addressed instead of having excess things placed in the game that can potentially cause more bugs. I would think fixing the problems that ALREADY exist should be focused on before adding new things to the game that way more potential bugs aren't compounded onto the list of issues. Like I said this is just my opinion. Also, last time I checked... shotguns in a close quarters scenerio are generally much more devastating then any other firearm, espesially pistols but because of so many complaints I believe this is the second time shotguns have been nerfed and now my shotguns are less affective against enemies I'm trying to kill in the co-op missions, or when I'm trying to help friends get through the campaign so they don't die nearly as much. Maybe the Trion team should go to a gun range and have a firearms instructor demonstrate to them the difference of devastation between shotguns, rifles, sub-guns and pistols. If nothing else they're sure to have a good time. And my rant is over... thank god right.

For the map, yes definitely, as for the time date, time yes date not really needed. Some departments work on bug fixes and others work on content additions, but they do need to test this stuff before putting the patches live.

Shotguns really arent that bad you may need to hit twice without perks now which Ive noticed but overall still deadly.

The map thing is awesome, I always have my laptop off when I go on the xbox so having a better idea of where to go when I want to do contracts saves me a ton of driving about, especially as I kept forgetting where the radio towers are >_<
The time is wrong for me though, it's an hour behind, but I do like the addition. If it's especially dark and can't see my clock it tells me to get to bed.

The clock is an addition I'm very thankful for.

I'm actually pretty happy with the updates. The game is transforming (slowly) into what some might consider "an acceptable final product".

It was easy for me to check the time by opening the steam overlay but I am thankful for this too. It's a small thing I appreciate since sometimes I get carried away with time.

Also each district is labeled? How do you see that? When I open the map I see a lot of names for a split second then it only shows the names of the warp points. I'd like to see the names of each districts.

You need to zoom in on the map and it will show more places named, like the mines and ports and stuff.

Putting the name of the zone in pretty blue letters on the map is kinda silly since it says what zone you're currently looking at at the top left....

I would rather think that some of the new things added, like map text and clock, were added into the patch because it was either something that would only take two minutes to put together and give us some of the things we've asked for, or it's something they have already had on their list and working on implementing for a while. There are a lot of things they have been working on since Alpha that haven't been finished yet.

Why the hell would anyone read that wall of text especially after the first few words where you state you won't read any responses.....
