Blood on the road...a call out to all Ark Hunters

I was leveling up some waepons today. I stopped to do a couple of emergancies and was over taken with my weaker weapons. I was on the road and was taken down. (it happens). I watched as 3. (yes three) players go by while I was down. None cared to stop and revive me. Could haave been lag or what ever. but please keep in mind to help out downrd fellow players. I am not complaining. Just want to make people aware while traveling.

I always stay dow untill the last minute to give people a chance to revive me. Even at Ark falls

If only there were more selfless, brave heroes like me around to save you. I cant be evrywhere at once, but i try

I feel that most people will help but its not always easy to see someone when they're down. Hopefully this post will remind us all to pay more attention.

This is trions fault.

I always stop to help someone who's downed, even if I don't know them. Sure they self-res most of the time, but I always try.

Yea, in order to meet the 100 revives of course. Once I get those 100 ark fall revives then that's it from me, haha. I kid I kid. No, actually I'm not.

No I don't do it to beat a challenge, I do it because I'm self-less. I like to help people.

Shame on you CozyMilk. Once the 100 are completed you have your honor to keep you reviving fellow Hunters. I will save you from death if I can and in my sacrifice I hope one day you will do the same

No, no. no worries. All is well, my friend.

Lmao yea people make no sense sometimes, My character suffers from F.T.S.T or Fast travel shock trauma, which means often times I Don't survive the Process of fast travel and resort to crawling circles around the ankles of fellow ark hunters at your local vendors. The point is I can count a handful times where I died looking at (A extract) with over a dozen players standing over me either checking pursuits or browsing vendor crop.

When fellow Ark Hunters can agree on on being well and being friends then that is a good day my friend.

I don't understand why they don't have a constant cry out for help defaulted into the system when you get downed. This is especially bothersome at pregonators ark falls, as most everyone is looking skyward to shoot the lights on the arms. Its all good though ill continue to do my part and rez anyone I see down :)

I think that is a great idea. Maybe a call out like: "I'm down. Please help!" would be a good example

i always try and help people when i am roaming around. when i am at arkfalls the same thing i try and run interference for people who are down and the archers and blast pods.

With the game the way it is, it's just difficult to tell if someone is down outside of your group.


But don't feel too bad. A few years ago some guy was mugged and stabbed on a sidewalk in New York City and he bled to death after a half hour or so, during which time people just stepped over or around him.

Dang. I did not know that! Oh well. I guess my situation was not so intence after all. I say we all kill a thousand hellbugs, raiders, miners, etc in that presons name.

Hi Pyth. I was asked to join the Browncoats last night. I have not chosen a clan just yet but will keep you guys in mind. Also congrats on the call out on the Across The Badlands the other night. Cool that you got all those guys to get the cars in order!! That was awesome!!!!

I try to revive everyone I see, but I have a hard time seeing them too, even in obvious places like arkfalls.

I can tell when people in my group need it, but half the time when I get to them they're invisible. If I didn't have them showing up as a cross on my mini map, I wouldn't notice at all.

Thanks for the reply SydSynister. Maybe Trion or some one can come up with a way to let others know in the game that we can let others know we are down. May all your mod finds be helpful

I was down on the side of the road trying to do an emergency once. These two guys roll up in a Challenger, jump out of the car and proceed to lay waste finishing off all the bad guys.

Then they walk over to me and stand over my character on the ground and start shooting rounds all around me and doing dance moves then jump in their Challenger and take off leaving me there for dead lmfao.

I won't lie, I loved it and thought it was hilarious. I had already used my self revive so I had to extract for some minor Scrip. Good times indeed.

Unfortunate for you but I can see the humer in it. lol. It does cost only minor script to revive. but it is more emersive when you get revived.

Having a mike is handy. If you are downed and need help you can ask for it.
At a Major event I heard a voice say "Please look at your feet, I need reviving"
Fifty odd toons stopped what they were marmalising at the time and looked down.
I saw three run to revive a downed player.
Its happening more and more often, if you ask for help you will get it.

The problem you had, is that when you go down, your purple dot is removed from the mini map. Most players would either not see you, due to you not being on the mini-map, the time it takes for your guy to load for them, some might write you off as a NPC. People could be chatting and distracted, the car is probably going at mach 2. Their are a lot of reasons why people just sped by you. It sucks but thats how it works.

What about a purple flashing exclamation point similar to thr blue ones you see in road side emergencies? Although maybe something less obnoxious for ark falls?

I'm not perfect but I always stop to help when I can, even if they are not downed.I know some people can handle dark matter troops, monarchs, etc by themselves but I try to help in the case they struggle or get downed.


That being said, at Arkfalls I tend to look down and scope the area when reloading for downed hunters. I admit we need something when downed because you can't even pull up the quick chat/emotes when down.
