The detonators and shotguns that shoot grenades need to be nerfed as well. They're the ultimate newb weapons. I was 100+ yards away sniping and was outsniped by a detonator.
Another crying halfwit who cant use the search option. Yet another one who is going to further ruin the whole game because he sucks at pvp.
Doesn't even say which infector so the whole lot will end up getting nerfed like shotguns making them pretty much unusable for both pvp and pve. You wont be happy untill everyone runs around with snipers and AR's. Bet your a quick scoping bad kid from cod.
FYI i use pistol + AR. And im having 0 problems. Every now and then i do die by them, but your going to die eventually in a pvp game, dont see me crying.
actually if they 'slightly' increase the hit box on the player for a sniper rifle I think that would do it some justice.
You can be the best player in the world and not twitch kill when you've got jukin/jumpin players all over.

The only thing that should be changed about infectors is turning off the auto aim/homing in PvP. Tada, now people have to aim again.
Ya, I think every weapon needs to be nerfed, we should just run around hugging each other and we should get scored on who gives the best hugs.... but don't hug irathians, they give the plauge!
Let's recap, so far we need to nerf shotguns, infectors, gernade launchers, rocket lauchers... that's almost everything, so I guess that means things are pretty equal....
they do not need to be nerfed, they need to be banned from pvp

I wager for a humorous solution (Please, no one take this seriously) They should make it so when you bunny hop with an infector, the ammo backfires and shoots you causing double DoT and the bugs instantly kill you. Oh the laughs we would all have in PvP! ;)

They need to be nerfed!!"u the only way i see it to stop everyone from crying is make each weapon do 1 hp of damage. Mods only make the gun look cool and synergy becomes useless. There will always be an "OP" weapon. No matter how you balance everything and even if you balance each gun to do equal damage across the board then whats the point in having different weapons? Or even rarity in that matter. You arent the best defiance player out there kid, u might as well man up and deal with it.
Most the people that complain that infectors dont need to be nerfed are prolly infector spammers cause their is literally no aiming. If your crosshair is red. It's instant hit. Not all infectors need nerfing. So to say that the gun class as a whole needs it is wrong I agree on that part. Immunizers need a range nerf. a homing range of 25 is more then enough to still keep a distance from shotgun users in PvP. The biggest upset with Infectors is that their isnt a DMG reduction depending on range. If you can hit them you'll do full DMG regardless of how far away you are. So its upsetting when you see a person camping the "B" roof on freight and they just stealth and spam infector then when you go to shoot them you cant even see them cause of that hemeroid crap on your screen.
Not everything needs to be nerfed when it comes to rockets and det's and cluster shots. Use a blastproof shield or use the perk that reduces the distance a explosive has to be to hurt you. So thats how you combat that. It's the fact that the Immunizers are brutally abused. For instance I used a Shotgun and a AR/LMG/SMG and my perks and power changes depending on the enemy team. Now I have a Immunizer with the strain reducer that makes it full automatic. This weapon is only used when the entire enemy team is camping with the Immunizer. Which I have seen numerous times at least 4-5 people standing on a roof all with infectors thinking they have any sort of skill. I can kill prolly 2 out of the bunch before the DMG finally gets me. But it is an extreme turn off when people dont need to work for their kill and just spam a auto-lock garunteed hit gun. I understand some people suck really bad at TPS PvP but that should be the driving point to make them get better and practice. Using a infector does no such thing, if anything it caters and encourage unsportsman like playstyles and encourages noobs to stay noobs.
I know i'll get hate on this and its prolly from people that use the Immunizer and dont want to see something so easy to use and get kills with to be nerfed to not be "WORSE" then other guns but god forbid its "EVEN" from what I have seen so far. And my hat goes off to the people who use snipers cause the hit box for snipers is way small. So if you snipe your actually making PvP more difficult so kudo's to those people who want a challegen an dont just want to think they are good because of a number on your leaderboard stats. Cause the way I personally look at it as well as im sure a large population of the community is that if you use a Immunizer to get kills. In "our" minds your KD is negative cause you never earned said kills. You took the way that takes no skill or even effort and abused it. Infectors should still be allowed in PvP like every other gun. Just the "Homing Range" Needs to be nerfed by half at most. It says anti-sniper role. So still leave it as one. just make it 25 instead of 40. Besides when you max out infectors the range goes from 40 to 48. So if they really want range MAKE them max the skill out to earn it. Not just find one and use it cause they are "Lazy".

FYI, yes infectors are easy to run and gun with, but unlike most weapons, those homing ranges are their max ranges, you can't hit things for dmg beyond that. They have the lowest dmg in the game of 4 points per hit, they have one of the smallest mags of 20, and they do not kill instantly you have too wait for the bugs so you have to be close but not too close, and they do not get nanos.
Anyone who is smart enough to use a BMG or RUN or Blur can beat an infector, I beat them all the time, and I use them too. In general I prefer an assault rifle or smg, but I want too lvl it up for my rewards.
its 4 points per needle that connects that the 5th procs for almost 1000 depeding on your infector level and also depending on the person being hit wether or not they have cellular armor, thick skinned, ect.
Its not a one hit kill no. but the fact you can get, lets say 750+ garunteed every 5th hit. then times that by 4 to equal to a 20 round mag you get a total of 3000 DMG and thats with rating it at a very low DMG. Since most infectors hit 830-1000+ also depending on barrel mods and infector skill. So whatever argument youd like to come back with. Doesn't change the fact the range on a Immunizer and coupled with the dmg it gets every 5th shot is abused to the fullest. they can leave the dmg and everything they want just nerf the range.
Also when i brought up range in my earlier post I was talking about each weapon has a max dmg effeciency range. After you pass that range DMG drops significantly which is why FALLOFF DMG was introduced to increase your range. I'm saying that an infector even at its max allowed range to do DMG still does its full DMG so youd do just as much DMG to someone if they are in the homing range of 40 as you would if they were 10. There isnt any falloff depending on range. So another reason why its so widely abused.
I think I'd like infectors better if they had a little less homing, and you could get rid of the puss balls by rolling.
Since enemies in pve don't roll to get rid of nano effects it wouldn't really effect pve.
Nerf everything, I says. Maybe we could just drop weapons from pvp entirely. Have everyone running around punching each other. Weapons on the map would make it a little interesting.

I rarely see people use Infectors in PVE. They're like gods gift to earth in PVP. My guess. Auto-aim/homing. If people actually had to aim instead of letting the game do it for them, I doubt many people would use them.
They just get so annoying to play against!

I do not call for any weapon to be nerfed. why. THERE IS NO ****ING DOWN SIDE TO PVP. revive and go kill. god you ****ing whiners about the weapons makes me want to go back in time. find the person that came up with the idea of pvp and ***** slap him. or they need to reduce the LMG/SMG/AR's spread in hip-fire, kinda funny that 60-75% of the weapons used are infectors now. Maybe a shotty in combo. The view distance kinda sucks but snipers can be used sometimes.
I've been using a pretty decent Ironclad shield with hitpoint perks and dmg reduction and still die almost instantly to some of them infectors.
70% infector adoption rate.
20% questioning ability to resist.
7% finding somewhat comparable alternatives.Well done.Honestly
3% convincing themselves and possibly others that everything is fine.
I'm tired of hearing people complain about things that don't need nerfing please stop complaining about the infectors they are already been nerf to people complaining if you want to know a trick just roll it off after being hit with it.
