Where do i even start?!?!
Lets see here. I dont post much on the forums but i am/(soon to be)was a big fan of Trion's. I started adventure with trion by purchasing rift. There was never a time while i was subscribed that i felt like we weren't constantly being communicated with, and listened to by our developers.
Which leads me to my first point. The crew that this company has working on defiance seems to me like it enjoys trolling us. Before you discount what im saying think about this. The devs come to these forums and drop a couple hotfixes here and a couple hotfixes there. Then release a new patch which not only reignites previously fixed issues but then doesnt work on fixing them before issuing other patches...... i mean come on..... At least when Rift Trion did something and they screwed up they admitted it. Where are our weekly developer blogs like we got when the game first came out. Seemed like they were listening to us and then all of a sudden bam...... random blog posts about episodic content.... and game features but no new news on anything related to what the fans are concerned about.
Time and time again we are met with noncommital or vague answers. I think its time that you decided to speak with your community and actually listen. If not i think this game will fail, and it wont just be those idiots who drive around arkfalls that make this game fail..... but the lack of communication. You want us in a committed relationship with you. Spending money on you. But your not even giving us a peck on the cheek and saying hey thanks for spending time with me anymore. Now it just seems like your doing whatever you want to do. Then thats the end of it.
Im not trying to be an ***** or a Di*k But me personally. I want some communication. Some incentive to know that my time and money are well spent on and with this community. Otherwise i hate to say it. But i may just take my scifi loving, mmo loving self to a community with better support and more communication. PS I love this game.... and dont want to leave it...... but i may just end up watching the show.... if i dont hear something worthwhile very soon.
TLDR : Trion Please communicate with us like you did when we first started going out. Please fix things that are broken before implementing new things that may end up rebreaking old fixes. Please dont duct tape this game. Use glue and mortar and brick and rebar and build a strong foundation before this big jenga tower falls on its head. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
Once again not meant to be a troll post. Just a concerned gamer. Wanting this game to succeed. While giving my two cents without trying to be to harsh about the state of the game as i see it. Please communicate. TY
