    Solving the biggest complain: Class system
    So I have seen some NDA released articles, specifically MMORPG.com complaing the lack of class and character customization. I dont find this to be a big issue because the weapons and the loadouts are what make us independent and on the scheme of the story it fits. BUT...

    Solution: I have just hit 1500 ego rating (from what i understand this will allow you to have a very well balanced spec for end game at this point. I unlock an advanced perk (name needs work). This advanced perk is permanent, no reset, but allowed you to use an advanced weapon on a cooldown basis like an EGO power, maybe this could even be an EGO weapon. We would have the option of mini gun, melee weapon, flame thrower , Riot shield with auto pistol. (any other ideas would be welcome)

    That is why there are cooldowns, like EGO has cooldowns, it is unbalanced when the same weapon is vs the same weapon (overcharge).. but you get around that with skill and your own mix of EGO. So like EGO, you activate it, it lasts for a bit of time, and goes on cooldown.

    Dude, cut it out. That is the biggest non-argument that constantly gets thrown around on game forums, and it's just getting stupid. How do you know it wouldn't be balanced? You don't. You can't just claim the implementation would be bad to argue against an idea.

    I do t think some advanced weapon like that is needed. It would mean high ego players would easily dominate new players regardless of skill. They want the game to be mostly based on skill and on an even ground.

    This is also hardly the biggest complaint. Their are much .ore important issues like having a real chat system and push to talk.

    How would PvP work you would just destroy any other player explain that also it would cut the fun out of getting advanced weapons

    I don't get your complaint at all.

    All he suggested was that at some point in the game you get to make a choice that is permanent, and that defines your character. Nothing about that is inherently unbalanced, it's simply people expressing their desire to be able to give their character some uniqueness.

    This game could use a little more uniqueness in the characters. Everyone being pretty much the same just isn't all that much fun.

    1.)There are certain gear stats which only apply if worn by a special class.
    Classes do matter.

    2.) Advanced weapons?
    Tell me how that would be an improvement for either PvE or PvP.
    It'ld only reward grinding.


    E/:
    Example:

    Machinist(2): Upon each kill the cooldown of your selfrevive gets reduced by 10%.

    If another class (you know, those 4 different classes you can choose at the start) equips this item the player doesn't get the bonus.
