    what i think would stop all the b****ing..not that i would choose this option..only let people in PVP choose a preset class like a call of duty's default classes 1-5..you got an assault class a sniper class and run n gun class ect they would all have set perks one them...would def solve alot of problems..dont flame me..just an idea A GOOD ONE, it would make pvp more skill based then just spamming the trigger with an immunizer or fragger

    thoughts?

    No one says snipers are OP cuz they suck in pvp...well the pvp sucks for snipers I should say....Lag is so bad sometimes its a 50/50 crapshoot if the shot I put right on your head will even hit.It only gets that way in a huge shadow war when like 30 players hit one spot but no other weapon is useless when groups of players group up...

    Yup, snipers are pretty bad on the xbox.

    I suppose that is good though, else freight yard would just be a sniper fest! Probably less fun for me than the current infector fest!!!

    immunizer vs immunizer
    cloak shotgun (close combat) vs immunizer

    my deaths in pvp
    55% full control immunizer area
    40% vot Fragger best use cloak (WHY IS BETTER THAN THE CLOAK OF "PREDATOR MOVIE")
    4% cerberus and road kill
    1% others

    my kill ratio per round +28 / -5 using immunizer and vot Fragger cloak(with these weapons is like walk in the park)

    my kill ratio per round +16/+7 using variety (and it is not easy with so many immunizer and Vot Fragger in play)

    YES YES I DO NOT SEE ANY PVP INEQUALITY AND YOU

    i have no idea what OP and others are on about. dont hate the player. one up him. find a gun that isnt used by all and own. personaly i use the VOT Pulser and a sniper(which name is lost in my insomniac mind). i snipe when im alone on the mini map as its easy due to no bullet drop or time then slaughter with smg. i usually come out around 15kills to 3deaths and obv more for frieght yard/ shadow war

    i think prob one of the bigger issues between shotguns being overused as well as infectors (specifically the sniping variety) is that for shotguns pretty much all the ego powers synergize with them (shotguns commonly used by cloak , Blur is also good for it to get in close as well and avoiding shots from average players , and the other one (name escapes me but increases weapon performance) just pretty much gaurentees theyre instant kill if you aim at the person) , and the sniping Infector benefits from cloak and overcharge is it? but has the range and spawns the bugs (which are really only effective in pvp). now if you look at other guns , how many actually benefit as well as shot guns? assault rifles , SMG , LMG can benefit from Cloak and overcharge , but not so much as blurr since you dont want to be in melee range if you can help it. Snipers? benefit from Cloak the most , while overcharge isnt too bad of a choice either , Blurr COMPLETELY USLESS TO THE WEAPON. i dont mention Decoy since its got the same general use for all weapons , and i dont mention detonators and rocket launchers or BMGs cause theyre not as COMMONLY used as all of these weapons , though theyre still there. so in what case we see here , Shotguns get overused cause no matter what spec you use , they still rip you to pieces if a sniper doesnt get luck and find you in the open. and infectors(the sniping variety) is just another sniper that doesnt do the direct dmg itself other then some minor dots that spawn the real source of the dmg (that you can kill btw) the bugs. so its not so much as they need a nerf , but REAL BALANCE needs to be brought to them and ego powers.

    Here is the PvP answer...... Get rid of ego powers in PvP and remove infectors from PvP since continued damage weapons are a little unfair.

    That way the nerf/buffs don't need to happen at all. I like many don't give a lick for PvP but nerf/buffs impact PvE and it's not an apples to apples nerf. Nerfing shotguns for the sake of PvP kills their effectiveness vs larger PvE enemies and has funneled PvE players even further into the AR/LMG abyss.

    So, they should leave the weapons alone because it's not their power that is OP for PvP it's the combo of allowing somebody to have a sawed off 250x12 with cloak or a sawed off 250x12 with an instant reload from overcharge.

    Get rid of the EGO combos and all the weapons become equal and player preference in PvP
