So I have already had 5 friends register and sign up on the website via the link in their e-mail accounts and the progress for the rewards still show 0/1 and 0/5. Why isn't this registering properly?

Did they log in?
Yes. All 5 friends logged into the website and registered their first arkfall code sent to them in there welcome e-mail.
Can a mod respond so I can invite more friends. Trying to promote your game here... but if rewards are broken there is no reason to.
Have them play the game... need to log into game first time
You need your friends to do the thing where they have like 160 codes scattered over the internet and you get bonuses for entering them.

They probably only have to enter one of those codes for you to get the refer a friend stuff.
All 5 friends have entered ark fall codes successfully into the website. They do not own the game, but the recruit a friends states "friends sign up for Ark Hunter Rewards" , which they all have. They have signed up, and also entered the welcome code sent to them unlocking their first in game reward. The only issue is that none of them are linked to my rewards, even though they used my email to sign up.
Maybe they said they did it, but really they didn't because they don't want to play this game. Have you met up with them in game yet? Are these your IRL friends or net buddies you've known for a couple months?Quote:

Not trolling. All are people I work with and few I game with. I know them all personally and walked them through registering. So I can confirm that they all did indeed register.
I had the issue where two people I had register didn't use the actual link and it didn't count them so it might be half broken XD
Read it again carefully it doesn't count until the friend buys and logs into the game for the first time. Just signing up on the defiance site is not enough for it to count.

You get the title for providing 5 emails.
You get the lockbox if one person signs up.
You get the +2 inventory space if all 5 people sign up.
You get the outfit if someone purchases the game.
You get the truck if those 5 people purchases the game.
You get a tier 3 lockbox for each additional friend that signs up after the 5.

Also to note, the email is returning a 404 error. Just put in my friend's email address and he said it gave a 404 error on the trion site. So you can't actually recruit anyone at this moment.
and if you look now... "recruit a friend" has disappeared from the main site...
I received my 'VBI Headhunter' title and a 'Assault Rifle skill +1'
Not sure why i received the Skill boost... anyone else? could be why they have taken it down
Before the 404 error it clearly states you get your rewards after they log into the game for the first time. If they don't buy it they can't log into it. Try lending them your copy have them log into the game and I'll bet it counts.

Funny thing is that it was bugging out before they took it down. Had friends saying they couldn't sign up even when it worked.
some people state it was people exploiting it.... other people say they received an assault rifle +1 skill by accident. All in all they have remained silent on the issue. so until it is explained by TRION it will remain in the "Broken" category.
heh yeah, i got the +1 AR skill with the title before the link went down.
I managed to get my outfit before it went down. Have some friends that bought the game yesterday and today and they are waiting for the site to go up before they start playingQuote:

yeah I had somebody sign up and play the game for the first time last night and I've still only got credit for sending an email
