You CAN buy tier 3 lock boxes, I have purchased some on the PS3 beta. After you buy the lock box, you have to claim the items in the store. To do that you have to got to the bottom left and click the [Claim Items] button. The lockboxes or items should be there. If the lock boxes are there then you have to open them. I think you need a keycard to open them. To check if you have a keycard go to the stats page and look under your scrip amount.

There are XP, scrit/etc boosts, and Tier3 lockboxes... Just sayin

After seeing whats available in the releaseed-game (first look stuff), I'm definitely stocking up on bits as soon as i can

I got the 4000 bits to mess with in the shops but it prevents me from buying anything.

Have you tried checking in the claim items section on the in-game Defiance store? If not then have a look there. To access the claim items section go onto the Defiance store and look near the bottom left for the button to go there.

eh when i but tier boxes items will show up on screen, not claim items at all, only if i buy items in the store itself. and sinds when does it have keycards???
