THE PLAGUE!!! - Don't believe the hype, and be prepared for a different fight

My report comes to you with a heavy heart. A strange illness has struck the Bay Area. A plague, and already accusations fly as only the human population has been affected. To quickly voices raise doubt about our Irathient brothers and sisters. Have we forgotten who fought by our sides in the Battle of Defiance? Do we not recall how they suffered and bled equal to us in that glorious moment ? In the past, back East, when a new illness arose blame was thrown with careless ease upon the local Irathient community. Nothing. Nothing was ever proven.
It woud seem that forces are at work to divide the greatest protectors the Earth has to offer. And there aren't many of us. Is it any coincidence that shortly after the death of Pol Madis, that piece of shtako death merchant, with his chemicals and toxins, that a strange "plague" comes calling on the faithful?
Don't. Be. Fooled.
The ones we have lost deserve better.
Now, to another matter.
The other day I awoke at Shondu's Consulate to start my day. Everything was quite, and I was the only one around. Even her Ambassadorship Mistress Shondu was absent. I brought up my HUD to fast travel to Iron Demon Ranch, but there was a problem. Iron Demon was no longer on the map. I jump on my Runner and head straight there. From a kilometer away I can see billowing smoke rise skyward. I finally arrive at what was Iron Demon, but now, all is devastation. The bodies of Ark Hunters lie scattered over the scorched earth. Moving among the debri I search for survivors. I find other Ark Hunters like myself newly arrived to this horror, searching for the living among the dead. Finally, a shifting pile of debri draws us all together. Underneath we find the only survivor. She dies moments after, repeating over and over. "Where were you? Where were you? Where were you?!"-
- I woke in a cold sweat. What was the dream about? Can't help but feel that it is a warning. No place is safe in the Bay, and those places we hold dear here may come under much great threats and we must, MUST, answer that call if it comes.
