Not only do they check your facebook before a hire, they search forums, for your signature, and base their decisions upon said signature.

Hahha, but na bro, you seem like an intelligent fellow, well spoken (at least via typing in internet land) and you seem to present yourself well. It could have been a few things.

I know some jobs I could have SWORN I had I never got called back on. Sometimes people have their reasons. Age, race, gender can all play a part, even though they shouldn't. Some people are more inclined to hire a minority, while others are not.

Keep at it, and you will find the right place :)

That's a very hasty generalization. I spent 15 years working on the west coast and another 15 in the south. I hire people. The ratio of stupid people to smart people is the same pretty much everywhere.

im not even going to get into the conversation about discrimination. all i will say is yer its wrong all forms of it but that dosnt stop it going on.

I feel you on this one. Lately its been feeling like that. And also not what you know, but who you know in order to get a job. Damn I love this place.
