As Midnight said, you need to be skyping with us cool peeps now.

As for games, here's my top list for PC:
-Guild Wars 2. Lots of fun, beautiful graphics, great gameplay, but endgame is lacking.
-League of Legends. Fun, addicting game, but as mentioned it's repetitive and matches are 30min+ each.
-Secret World. Not really my cup of tea but I can say it's a great game. Very very immersive.
-World of Warcraft. People love to hate it, but in the end it's a very high quality and extremely polished game that will keep you hooked for years.

I can't believe nobody recommends Torchlight. I hate all of you. That being said, get Torchlight and Torchlight II.

Oh I totally forgot about those. They're a lot of fun, I just don't ever think of games like that because they're just tiny compared to full MMORPGs. But yeah they're a lot of fun, definitely worth the like $20 I think?

It's not the size that matters, it's how you use it. In all seriousness though, Torchlight II > Diablo 3.

Get Steam and familiarize yourself with Steam Sales. You will feel nauseous next time you look at a console game price.
Also, subscribe to Humble Bundle and Indie Royale. It's for charity... so **** em and pay a $1.

If you like Diablo and Torchlight type games, "Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing" is pretty good. Also, Spiral Knights is fun for a while.

If you like MMO's, there are buttloads of Free 2 Play ones. They're free so it costs you nothing to try, except your precious youth, which you are obviously wasting on videogames already. :p

If you've ever read a lovecraft story, bump secret world a little further up your list
