That's a pretty big leap of logic to make. I never noticed much of a difference in the online service, either.

The only difference I've ever noticed is in options like cross game chat. There might be a slight difference in connection rates but not enough for me to pay both for internet service and the right to use that internet service on my console. But then I'm cheap as you can see.
There is a a very good chance that they will banhammer Xbox one on base ,because persistent recording devices are a big nono on base. Web cams are a different story beacuse you can at least unplug the durn thing. Looks like I will be going back to PS but I really do hate the way the controller feels.
A console that plays all old 64-bit console generation games and lower and just expand those games to allow larger multiplayer, it would do better than what xbox is proposing with this system.

I would also like to Super Mario Kart Battle against 8 people, and fight people online in Star Fox 64, with more than 4 people in a map.
My dream hand continues to stay empty; we don't talk about the other hand...
while "multiplayer" is up to the game itself, you can play anything made like a normal pc simply by running linux 5.4 on the original ps3, I used to play WoW on it until they patched to 3.0
sadly.. the normal consumer out there did not do those things.. only a handful of people used the original ps3 to it's "full" (I use that term loosely) potential, so.. the removed it. saved them that much more cost.
I miss when people used to make fun games for the sheer sake of making fun games. Not it is all about who can earn the most money for games. How pathetic and greedy.
