People do this all the time. Even small businesses jump on places like Amazon and post good reviews for their stuff. Lol... They know we're sheep. :)

And if Sony announces the same things as Xbox one then what? Keep in mind, Sony hasn't said anything about used games or internet. Yea Xbox one is looking bad but Sony isn't out of the woods yet. I'll what until after e3 to make my decision.

Sony hasn't mentioned anything about there's lol. If I were a ps fanboy I'd be biting my tongue because if they have some really bad stuff for it eg games protection/no pre owned etc then they are all gonna look real stupid.

Bersides... Company's spend money on hate campaigns like samsung do. Seems to be a trend for these company's.

I was reading the news the other day and some interviews and one of tbe higher ups at sony some cheif in their gaming section has been quoted as saying the ps4 will not require an internet connection as thet believe not every country as an infastructure that is good enough to make it a requirement. They also stated the ps4 will not have system drm and drm that is put into games will be from devs so we will know who put it there. Apparantly it was said a whioe ago at a round table conference thing and sony has recently linked interviewers to these sources.

We shall see what happens :)

No, but they will lose the money of some of their loyal fans. Like people that have low income and can't afford internet, soldiers that take their consoles with them when they deploy; and what about families that like to travel and bring their consoles so their kids won't get bored?

The military has already banned the Xbox One from being bought due to security reasons.

Do you not recall the 360? forums and chat rooms lit up with "word of mouth" about how great a system it was...., most were soo poorly done one could easily spot a writer vs. a average gamer.

Aside from the aggressive campaign by "users" they also did several publications, citing it as the only system with parental control, progressive scan, so on and so forth.. despite the contrary. They aren't the first either when it comes to making up words or phrases as logo to use as a "selling point".

cash juggernauts... haha.. well...... sony does do commercials.. but they don't soo heavily advertise or "hype" things up.. the reality is.. had they been more aggressive in their advertising, specifically by citing actual specs, statistics and such, people would be on board with their stuff. case in point, Betamax.. a format that would have had us in the high definition age much sooner, it was superior as a format compared to VHS.. but lack of advertisement on the tech development led to others (like the **** industry) choosing VHS).. Sony has a bad habit of thinking that their name alone will sell a product.. like their sh*t should never stink..

as far as getting caught... anybody with even a modicum of rationale' would easily discover the advertisements of a company posing as a customer. the 360 customers simply lacked that rational mind set, and put stock into the rumors of high praise for a system that frankly, and evidently, was not soo fantastic.

low income gamers... if money was a concern of these customers.. then they, when thinking rationally, did not purchase the 360.. counting that it breaks on average every 4 months.. the average game costing 50-60 bucks lasts from 4-18 hours total, and that it costs an additional fee to play online... additional costs if you wanted to go wirless network, even more for controller battery solutions, prioprietary communications devices.. on and on,.......
in a 15 year period it would cost (NOT COUNTING GAMES) $33,300 to operate and maintain a single xbox 360 (this is counting the cost to replace, because it does, whether it is the customer, the retailer, or the manufacturer, it still costs). Comparing now to the ps3, it averages out to ~$330 for a 15 year period.

I suppose.. like other poor people complaining about their life in the projects then somehow being able to spend money on 22" chrome rims and a sound system, these "low income gamers" have absolutely no rational thinking going on in their heads and would prefer the expensive system because somebody said it was popular/good/"has electrolytes, it has what the body craves"....

People bought the 360 because sony was stupid and priced their console at 600 on launch, not because of any hype machine... and the 360 basicly won out this generation because they got more machines into peoples livingrooms... the biggest market is the PRIMARY market for developers.

It was their war to lose, and they lost it... considering how much of the market share they had in the previous generation compared to the original xbox. Nevermind it was Microsofts vision for what owning a console and being online would mean and define this generation.

And come on... a new xbox every 4 months? Really? If that seems rational to you then theres something wrong...

People bought the 360 because it came out a year before the PS3. The pricing was a moot point with that wait. 360 Didn't win the generation, even with a year lead and a system fail rate unheard off, they are still being out sold by PS3. Nintendo won that fight, by a massive margin. I'm with you on all other points though.

if by "more machines" you mean the fact that they have nearly 30 million less players online compared to playstation.. then sure.. more machines...

units "sold" does not = units installed to a consumer...
they counted sales in total, as in.. wal-mart purchased this many and so on. also.. with such a huge failure rate *87% at launch now down to 54% today) you can factor a HUGE portion portion of sales as being for replacements, whether it is the customer, or the retailer it is still "a sale" in ms's eyes...

next time look at what the manufacturer publishes, then look at some 3rd party studies, and finally, if you can, conduct your own research to verify, validate, or counter another's so called findings. stop being a blind fatihful puppet of some brand name and instead make your own decisions, hopefully based on fact, and reasoning.

    you're absolutely right!

except when Anonymous gets bored and ddos's xbox live for a giggle on launch day, rendering everyones completely brand new fresh out of the box machine.... absolutely worthless until microsoft can get back online.

you'll have to get used to mirimon pulling numbers out of his @$$, he's getting paid by sony to talk up the ps4 / trash talk the xbone (as well as try to tell everyone else they're an idiot for owning a 360).

once you call him out on how much sony must be paying him, he usually goes away for a week or 3.

I wish.. I could use another pension..

not my fault sony has some solid products.. you'll find i'm on the side that generally has the most to offer for less.....

as for my "numbers" they aren't mine, they come from various consumer reports and consumer studies.

    get educated.

So im a blind faithfull puppet of a brand name and xbox users buy a new system every 4 months spending a total of 33k over a 15 year period....

    Your not a normal person...

Your too focused on bits of minutia to see the world as it really is man... I dont know if you have somebody in your life to help you see things clearly or to point out when your going off on a tangent... but at the very least practice being normal.

Take a step back... think about what your going to say, and before you actually say it... ask your self is this how a normal person behaves?

Try watching other people, and instead of berating or insulting them just observe their normal interactions.

If you restrain yourself, and make a concerted effort... behaving normally may become second nature.

Because the UK has a much higher tax rate than the rest of the world. Also then Microsoft charge us a little extra for not being American.
