Steam keeps saying i can play the beta right now?

If you applied all of the keys steam gave you and it won't let you in it's a problem on Trion's side, not Steam's.

I only had your problem when I used the client from steam, I didn't get the problem when I downloaded the beta client, which is the link I posted. So I don't know what to tell you now. -.-

Yeah problem is it doesnt even show like i have the game on the game page but i applied codes already!

Mine code did initially and then it did not. You will note though that is says code already has been applied if you go to re apply it.

Did you by chance get a defiance beta invite in the last week? If you did, you can use that code to play the beta client.

If not, then contact trion support as they will give you a beta code.

I had to contact Trion support to get my code to work properly.

I am now wondering if I need to contact support?

I am currently playing the beta on a code that was sent to me about a week ago from trion.

Steam shows I have the game preordered. My codes however are not showing in my game page. I think the ark hunter codes have just filled the allowed spots on the page up if that makes any sense.

TBH I think Trion ahs enter a failcascade mode =/

No, there was something causing Steam's preorders to not be activated. All the guy did in Live chat was check my account, saw that I had the key, and activated it for my account.

You need to accept the terms of use before you are let in. It should show up around here -- https://defiance.trionworlds.com/ but the login server is down right now. The accept EULA and Terms button should show up under one of the entries under the manage games tab. You may also need to wait to receive an email accepting your invite, or you can just use live chat.
