Afraid about xbone 24hr online check up?

you guys need to step back and take a look at your posts for a minute, everyone has their own opinions. you look like little childeren when you rudely trash someone else's opinion just because you dont like it.

lets try and keep it civil ffs.

I might be abit bias towards the xbone, but im not insecure enough about my own opinions that i will get into a "my daddy is bigger than your daddy" bs argument.

I still think with game developers leaning ever more towards MMO type games with micro-transactions, in game currency, rare/unique loot that has real money value to people that the system setup microsoft are going for will be the best bet in the long run.


and yes the PS4 has better hardware, so did the PS3. But i still felt that games played better on my xbox.

As a gamer I have found this new gen of consoles to be quite interesting two different approaches to the market, right now im on the xbox 360 but im going to start with a ps4 this time round. Its not through any sense of loyalty to either system but as a gamer I see the specs of the ps4 being more tailored to games with the bigher clocked cpu the gddr5 ram and slightly better gpu, the requirements are a lot less restricting to with no drm no required internet connection and finaly the price difference.

There is one catch psn plus is required to play online now thats newly introduced for ps4 although that just means both systems now require online subscriptions. I pay for live now and by all accounts psn plus is cheaper and has some good reviews and beta access and free games?

Not to bash the xbox one but from where im coming from as a gamer thats how I came to my choice and my reasonings.

and to add , i only played on xbox cause thats where most of my friends were , some games did play better on PS3 though , graphics were a tad better (not DRASTICALLY better mind you) on ps3 as well.

its really hard to say how developers are going to handle next gen though , there are alot of the vocal community anyway , leaving xbox for ps. BUT both companies have said its up to the developers on how they want to handle used games , neither console is necesarily enforcing an anti used game (though i guess xbone is having games be registered onto your account which i guess is a form of anti used game policy) im still thinking PS4 might pull way ahead of Xbone here though , and as much as duction likes to keep going into bash mode with no solid evidence on anything and disregarding everything else thats been said , he does seem to avoid saying Xbones BF4 demo had some hiccups too. i have watched Destiny on PS4's demo and it seemed pretty dam smooth on there.
So well see how this gen goes out , despite some ppl on here just to try to spout mindless sense , ive had Xbox 360 PS3 and a solid gaming computer , even if developers are leaning to mmoish type games , forced online should have been something to avoid at this point , we had D3 and Sim City and if thats not enough for them to learn i fear how next gen is going to handle launch day (for the console itself and each game thats online all the time)

if i thought for a second all this stupid online stuff was about blocking hackers and cheaters i would give ms some credit but its clearly not, it's completely about taking our money along with our rights as a consumer.

So this gen MS im going with the ps4, thank you for two very good consoles but i will check back in in 8 years time when you have seen some sense.
