What really gets me is TR died right before the current trend of failing MMOs going f2p instead of just closing. :p

SWTOR, STO, TERA, The Secret World ect they have all dropped their subs so u can play for no monies. Damn u NCSOFT! Damn u all to Hell!

That's it! I was trying to come up with other games that felt like Defiance... Tabula Rasa!!! I played. Loved that game, was so sad when they screwed Garriott/British and shut it down. I was there for the final lag-fest.

It would not have saved TR. NCSoft management had changed, at the top, and did not like RG anymore. They intended to kill TR before they ever forced RG out.

Simply a case of "prior regime did this so it must go".

Pvt.Smitherns reporting in from A.R.M, sadly forgot the name of the server, but damn TR was a good game. I remember trying to get my guy skilled enough to be a Guardian, trying to find all those hidden abilities around the world, Having traveled too far into a high level area for the hell of it, and hiding like hell when a high lvl raid came down on the fort, **** that was intense, Tabula Rasa. Damn it was fun while it lasted.

I played Tabula Rasa too! TR is the reason I love the shooting/RPG genre now. My favorite thing to do was retaking bases and backstabbing :P One moment that stood out when I was the spy class was one time I shapeshifted and my buddy kept trying to attack me during base defense.

Still remember standing outside the gauntlet instance on the PTS and forcing everyone to wait as I stuffed my face. :D Even provided a "download progress" dialogue in %.
People said that instance was hard... We corn walked it... (yes, I said corn!)
