Will there be any form of end game?
Just curious what the game will be like after completing the available story line, right now in beta there is not a whole lot to do, the things that are there quickly become repetitive.

I already pre-ordered deluxe because I think It's worth paying just to go through the missions, but enjoyable bonus content is never a bad thing :)

So, does anyone know if theres any time of end game content planned, or if it'll be much like beta is now?

Looking at the pursuits, I saw something like "seasons" there were three of them IIRC. I imagine that might be some sort of season ending tie in with the show.

Why would there be end game, I suppose eventually you will run out of stuff to get, but since the whole world is open to you and there really isnt any levels, the whole world is both your begging and end game, there will be new content added regularly with more story etc.
World events, dungeons to do etc.

People need to not think of "endgame" here because there really isnt.

End game ie raids instances on a hard mode for better loot that u would not get at the start or mid way through

Thats the thing your not going to reach a end game here. This isnt wow where you cap in a few days. You looking at a ego level of 5K + And that is just season 1 lol. Also this game will evolve as the TV show does so your looking at a game that could change every week.

I can't think of a Major Game release in the last year that's had raiding in it. It's been a while for sure.

It's a shooter game. You shoot at things. Here is your endgame. When you have shooted down all things, Devs will give you DLCs with more things to shoot at.

i think you guys are missing what the OP is asking...at some point you will be able to do content that your average player cant do. Would you really be happy knowing someone who just bought the game is able to clear the same content you have with your 400hrs plus invested??? I want to work for my gear, which in turn allows me able to do higher instances (end game stuff). Maybe im aksing for to much, but ive just recently developed a liking for this game, what the hell is the point in a open wolrd rps/mmo'ish game if theres no end game????

There is no gear treadmill in Defiance. The highest end gear is still has the same (or close to it) stats as earlier weapons. They just have special effects and bonuses added to them. Defiance is very much a game that is focused on the TV show's story, and pvp.

There are variations in damage that I've seen and since this is only a fraction of the game, it's safe to assume that there will be some sort gear treadmill as you get into later areas, given that the mobs get increasingly stronger, it would make sense that weapons get stronger.

Also, the beta loot tables are not what they are in the real game, so what we have no idea what the loot will actually look like when it goes live.
