Xbox One NA usable in the UK?
My wife is stationed over here in the UK, and I am hoping that I can play the new console over here. I have internet and always connected. Just wondering with the Region Lock would that mean since I have the US console and UK connection will it work? My 360 runs just fine online through my UK connection.

I know I can not download games from the Marketplace here though. Even with the codes like I got with GoW Judgement for GoW1.

Please let me know. Thanks guys!!!!!

Yeah. The Consoles are region locked for games but for system I don't think there is a region lock on using the online.

So basically as long as I buy the disc for my US Console I should be able to play... Nice!

You would have to import the disc from America but yeah. It should be fine.

you would also have to have a regulator to downgrade the power to 110.. unless it's on base.. which is usually set to the US standards from the 220-240 that is normally in the UK.

you would also have to have a regulator, or it will go up in smoke when you plug it into that 220-240v wall socket.. unless on base, where they usually apply the US standards. You will see alot more lag when playing with people in the states as well, but that is a given on anything online multiplayer.

Obviously I can get US games here onbase and plug my console in. No need to import when living on a US base :D

just curious.. you do know how bad xb1 is right now right? ps4 is taking this one all the way home..

and more importantly.. xb1 wont be sold on base, nor will it be allowed on base according to a frago we got last week due to it being a persistent survailance threat.
