I noticed key 2 is for primary and 3 for secondary weapon, this is not needed, as key Q can swap the only 2 weapons you have in 1 load out, key 2-9 should be hot keys for all the load out. I'm tired of having to go to the menu to change load out in the middle of battle, this is annoying as heck and not fluid at all.
I understand this might be a problem for consoles, but can be easily implement for PC. Please do this!!
Don't even need Q as you can use the mouse wheel to swap weapons. 1-0 should I agree be assigned to profile selection for PvE and for those on controllers have a button chosen that when held down will act like then wheel menu when the trigger is held down.
i.e. x is pressed for reload but x can also be held down for a profile selection menu
Little bit jarring to be needing to "pause" to go into the character screen to just change your load out profile mid combat that you setup based on the enemy you fight.
Pretty sure that you're not supposed to be able to use more than 2 weapons at a time.
It makes you choose wisely, or use a slightly cumbersome way of changing loadouts.
I like it, can you imagine pvp matches where everyone has every weapon ready at the push of a button?
Simple solution to that, limit it to PvE, lock out profile swapping unless dead or to before or after a PvP round. Not everything for PvE needs to affect PvP and visa versa, wish people and devs would get out of that mentality tbh, would make balancing things a lot better aswell as you can have separate code flags for the same element.Quote:

enable a key but put it on a timer to make it around the same time it would take to manually do it inside the UI. console players (and possibly pc with a controller) can do it with 2-3 button presses from what I understand already anyway
Hotkey open the Loadout screen, mouse-click on the loadout number, escape out of menu... I think that's a perfectly reasonable way to switch loadouts. It takes about 2-3 seconds, once you're used to it and forces you to stop moving/seeing for those 2-3 seconds.
If you made it much easier, you might as well be able to equip nine weapons at once and forget about loadouts.
