The possible 4th Hidden vendor location being discussed

So I started delving into this mystery as it was addressed earlier (and removed once it got RickRoll'd) and I have come up with a possible answer.

Apparently there was a 4th hidden vendor at Heaven's Gate. At heaven's gate, there is a boat to the left, a dock straight ahead, and a cabin to the left. You were suppose to clear all three areas, then at the intersection of them, a vendor truck appeared and was under attack. Kill those raiders, and now you can use the truck.

However, I just spent 30 minutes there trying to get it to spawn and it would not. Here are probable reasons as to why:

1) It was originally a vendor truck. All hidden vendors became NPCs in a patch.
2) It could possibly count as one of the vendor emergencies, as we know some emergencies actually are triggered by doing other emergencies. There are/were (as I haven't done any since the plague) some in San Fran near the Overpass like this that gave faction.
3) The dock enemies (not the cabin or the boat) were changed during the Pied Piper missions to Rogue E-Rep soldiers. Upon reaching Heaven's Gate, there were still E-Rep enemies and an electric hellbug on the dock and raiders at the cabin and boat. Maybe by not having the raiders on the dock, you cannot access the vendor.
4) Ever since the plague hit, I have not seen ANY of the normal travelling vendors from the defend the vendor emergencies. Maybe they (and Heaven's Gate) have been taken out of the game during the plague.

One thing that did catch my eye: Behind the shack on some crates was an odd device with a glowing red light. I took a picture but I freaking HATE Windows 8 as it won't even give me an option to add it to the post.

Oh, also all the info that I have found about this is dated back in April/early May... right before the Pied Piper missions. Haven't seen any info on it since.

My clam members have paid notice to this and I myself saw it on the map as a vender but failed to reach it in time. We have on many occasions tried to "re trigger" the event without success. Even had many members work over the area as a pack... I think you may be right that patches have caused this to become... yeah.

i kinda did it by accident the other night. wasnt sure if it was supposed to be there or not. then the enemies respawned right on top of me and suffice it to say, i was ambushed and put back at a extraction point

Trying to remember where Heaven's Gate is... it's the area in the far Northeast of Madera right? I forgot that was one of the areas on the Piper mission too.

I have seen the vendor defense since the plague but only in one area. In Madera, on the road that leads South to Top Notch in Marin, and not the road that goes by the docks on the other side of the hills.

Also JxSin try using an attachment in the edit menu to post the photo in if you haven't. I know posting a photo on here was a pain for me, I don't have windows though, but maybe it will help you out.

Ahhh, I vaguely remember going here on a side mission or main mission so I think you are right. I've honestly only been there twice since near the beginning of the game (for the pied piper mission and then today searching for the vendor). And side missions can't be repeated, as far as I know.

I have seen some emergencies that once over a vender is there. Not sure of the location but I have seen it a couple times.

I still have it if anyone wants, I want in-game money or an orange rather have an orange then money but i'm not picky... Mail me when you want to meet, Honestly i'm not worried about posting the screen since you will take awhile trying to fig how to get it to get to trigger..
