After E3 anyone regret the season pass?

Well after e3 and the announcment of the ps4 amd xbox1 are you upset that you bought the season pass. Maybe your planning on selling your console to get the next gen, maybe not. I did not purchase the season pass just for the reason i knew i would be buying a ps4. From the looks of it we may only get two dlc's, possible three by the time the new consoles launch.

I really love defiance and hope i get to play as much as possible but after seeing destiny and eso i dont know if
I play it even if it comes to next gen through instant download.

No, don't regret it.

You can always log on when the DLC comes out, have a play with the free bits, see what people are saying about it, and make your decision then.

I'm quite happy with my season pass.

everyone was calling for blood after it didnt come after patch 1.20, i cant wait to see the forums when its the end of july and still now word. im so glad i waited before buying

... that said, I'm probably get one but not until after the holidays and the 'ZOMG NEW! (PC from 10 years ago)" rush wears off just to play a few of the PS4 exclusive games.

Totally stoked for DLC and no regrets on the Season Pass. My PS3 isn't going anywhere even when I do have my PS4 snuggled up next to it. Lots of PS3 backlog to keep me busy for at least 18 months not to mention plenty of new games still releasing. That includes Defiance expansions. I love this game because I can plug away at it here and there...jump on for some new story missions based on the show...or do the zillion other things that it offers. I mean I am still not even done with the main story yet. What's the rush? Defiance gameplay for who knows how long...what's not to love there?

I have about a 60 game backlog, a good 15 of those being PS3 games.
I for one welcome the PS4 since I really am interested in The Division.

But I am still glad I bought a season pass. It's just one of those things I've bought regards to Defiance but havn't had a chance to really benefit from it. I could kick and scream like a child saying how it's worthless because DLC isn't out yet, but that's exactly what Season Passes are for. It's a red carpet for when the DLC's come out; not some magic 'dlc is out now when you want it' pass.
If you don't want to pay the 30$ then to have it as it comes out, then don't get it. Pay the 10$ for when it comes out.

I think I am the only one looking forward to the XBox One in this thread.... I like a lot of the games XB1 will have and the exclusives too! Sunset Overdrive has that whimsical cartoonish feel that TF2 has (which I been playing for the bulk of today) yet it has that open world mayhem that Crackdown 2 offers.. Then you got some of the features which offer everyone the ability to record and share videos straight from the console BY DEFAULT.. I always wanted to record all the strange and bizarre glitches I frequently encounter on a day to day basis and show them to my friends.. Yes, I could pay a tidy sum for various software/hardware for the 360, but now I won't have to go through that hassle.. Also, further investing in a system that will be most likely replaced in November to cover the same functionality seems pointless..

Probably will be. Various sites using polls, including facebook integrates get as high as 85~95%+ people voting for PS4.
As much as their exclusive do look pretty nice (mainly Sunset Over drive), it's a question of 'how long until they cross over'; like Dead Rising 3. They wont be on Xbone for long before crossing over.

I never buy season pass for any game and this is a prime example of why lol.

Not at all. I have gotten more then my monies worth with this game. The DLC looks like fun, I can't wait to try out my new 4 person vehicle and the new PvP map, and I get a TV show to get even more immersed in the defiance universe. Obviously, Defiance isn't an MMO that I am going to get 100+ days of game time out of, but im fine with that. I'm having fun, and that's all that matters.

Yay Florida! Where everything goes to die! (retirement central.... lulz)

I don't regret it I have gotten a chance to play some of the DLC and I really liked it; I'm to looking foward to its release. I'm also looking foward to the new next gen games coming out especially Destiny, The Division, and Titanfall. The bunny hoping game play on Titanfall looks really fun.

I don't regret buying my Ultimate Edition one bit which came with the DLC pass. Then again I bought it on the PC so things will stay fun for quite a while. :)

As for wanting to get a PS4? Heck yes, I'll do it some day but I just recently got my PS3 so it'll wait a while. xD

I didn't get the season pass and I'm glad. You do make a good point regarding the multitude of other games coming soon especially on other platforms. Defiance wasn't really a competitive product on the PC at all when it launched and it's only becoming less so every day that passes.

I stopped playing shortly after release and am finding better free alternatives out there. Defiance days were numbered when Trion bumbled a significantly long development window releasing a subpar pay to play pseudo mmo right before consoles are going to be receiving free to play blitz and while the PC has already been there for years.

Trion's been plagued by bad business moves lately, Defiance being the latest disaster.

Warframe is anything but free. Its one of the worst pay to win games I have ever seen. Can you play free? Sure... will you be even remotely competitive? Nope. Planetside 2 is fun if you don't mind respawn runs all the time and base ganking. DC Universe I can't say much about except that its not got any more content than this does. And bare in mind it was a commercial flop before it went F2p and even then, you DO have to buy expansions to access some features. But I play that sometimes when I need a Defiance break.

Why do people feel the need to say "or" .. why not both? Its not like Defiance is a huge monetary investment... especially on a console where you can buy a used disk to play. Now as for the Xbox.. Defiance wasn't the bad investment in that equation. The Xbox was.

I'm playing Warframe already and that game is so great. I've spent a whole $5 and have gotten far more playtime and enjoyment out of it than the $40 I spent on Defiance. Went back to Rift too and there is just so much to do, all entirely free I just can't process how Trion Defiance thinks they can even compete with their other product.

Defiance is easily 2 years too late to the party. Just thinking about playing directx 9 games release on the PC in 2013 is sad.

You know how I know you never played? Warframe isn't a competitive game. It's entirely cooperative. You can literally get every single thing that you can buy with money in-game without spending money.

And you don't know what you are talking about, or apparently understand the term compete... heres a hint, it doesn't always mean PVP.

Rewards in the game are based on performance, and you will not be able to keep up with the players who bought their weapons and premium frames. Sure, you can build the weapons and frames yourself.. if you are lucky enough to get the BPs to drop, and the rare components, and then wait almost a month for it to finish crafting. Of course to get these you need to run certain maps over and over and over and over. Also the game has very few maps.. the way it varies them is by 'locking off' certain areas of the maps making you take specific routes and then smattering some random decorations around. It makes you think its a new map, but play for a few days and actually be observant.. and you will realize its not.

But hey, if you have so much fun with it, then cool for you. You hate Defiance and I enjoy it.. my question though is if Warframe is so leet, why are you back here posting?

You get very very worked up perhaps some chamomile tea or you might laugh because reading what you wrote you could be describing how some people write about Defiance. People are never going to get what a great game it is and there is no point arguing with trolls :(

That is why I avoid coffee it makes me supper jittery and wired. I have never been a fan. Bad bad that is 2 of us at least on the defiance forum when we should be working lol

a) You can continue to play Defiance even after PS4 comes out
b) You can play Destiny on PS3 or PS4... I suppose the PS4 version might be "better" but it isn't clear yet how it would be better

I will definitely be keeping my PS3 around even after my PS4 is in place... the PS4 will have just a handful of games at launch. My PS3 library is full of great games.

Yeah the launch of Destiny a year from now though will be my go to game.:cool:

Games with release dates of one year in the future tend to be released 2 years in the future.

Very disappointed that I bought the season pass. We were promised 5 I think doc's. They can't even get one out. I will never pretty buy a doc or season pass again after this catastrophy. I really hoped this game was going to be good. With all the lack of the chat fixes even though we all complained about poor chat in beta is very upsetting. Chat is a basic function in games a d they can't get even that right, let alone have push to talk.

I think you'll find that Dcuo has loads more content than Defiance so you really don't know what you're talking about there. Even at launch Dcuo kept me occupied a hell of a lot longer than Defiance did, loads of dungeons, raids, gear upgrades. Defiance got boring after you realized you were grinding ego rating for absolutley no reason. I hop on every now and again but turn it off again after half an hour because there is nothing worthwhile to do.
