I think that's why I'm still hanging onto mine to at least give the multiplayer some plays every now and again; but with Defiance I'm not sure that will be entirely possible...

Why so? :'( The ony games I've bought in the past couple of months are Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, MAss Effect 2 and 3, Defiance, Neverinter foundry, Tomb Raider and Max Payne 3 :P
