"Hidden" Code list/discussion

I though about using a Generator but there are 2,176,782,336 possible combinations and I don't have the skill to write a script to auto test them on the EGO page, any takers?

(I say this without being mean or argumentative, please read a neutral, non-judgmental tone into my words.)

Using Curl that isn't hard, but I consider it as really removing all the fun from this event for almost the entire player base.

We should be scouring the videos and partner sites and webcasts to find these - as a community of humans - rather than brute forcing, using a computer to crack it, potentially destroying the whole event.

For my own morals, it is ok in my mind - as part of the spirit of cooperative play, and preservation of the human race - for us to look and share the details between ourselves. But! it is not ok to remove this part of the fun Trion have obviously worked and planned hard to put into this event. It is NOT! ok to remove the fun all the other fans will have watching each and every video, ad, stream over and over looking for these codes.

If anyone was considering it.... please don't. Please?

I'm more interested in how the validation works than actually forcing codes considering the 2+ billion combinations

That is actually easy if you read it. They accept your code, look it up against a database of codes that have been generated and return a true/false value. It is not algorithmic. So you could not bruteforce all, but you might brute force the videos this week.

I concur, using brute force will ruin the fun of the challenge and potentially cause Trion to remove the bonus perks all together... why risk it.
