    What defines a "Troll" Thread?
Apparently, I started a troll thread and was unaware of it. I asked a simple question, and the thread was locked by a mod because it was a "troll" thread. It was in general discussion, and i wanted to have a discussion. Nope.
Now, I know what trolling is, but im just confused as to how a discussion gets turned into that. Am I asking too much?

Personally I think this whole "trolling" garbage is just a way of saying they disagree with your opinions. I have seen so many people voice there opinions on the internet and get labeled a troll just because they don't agree with them. I have nothing against trolls and don't even care if people troll because hey it's the internet who cares. It's like these people who ***** about grammar I think they know your right and don't what to admit it so they make the excuse that bad grammar = you don't know anything.

Your post was considered trolling as it drives the long battle between Xbox and PS3. It served no purpose other than to highlight one was possibly better than the other.

This might have not been your intentions, but it is how the mass console community saw it.

I specifically asked NOT to start a console war though. I figured that stating that would make any comments engaging in a console war null.

    Joking? Right?

Im not sure if I saw the thread but saying not to fight encourages fighting.

Here.. I have a cookie.. I place it before you.. You CANNOT have the cookie.. What will you do?

If the thought of taking the cookie was not previously in your mind, me stating it made you think of the cookie. There is no cookie :(

This is why it was called a troll thread.

    Ps*
    Trolls seek only reactions

i saw your thread and your 2nd thread. both of them were about as accurate and just as inflammatory as the mass effect sex scandal piece fox news did a few years back.

I haven't seen a troll in this community yet...though I generally stay away from the GD forum.
