i hate hate hate to talk about htis "game" but i want to the best ( a lot to read)sry

ok,so my friends and i came from dcuo,a game i have grown to be disgusted by. the people,the kids,the adults,just about (no exaggeration) 80% of the players i met over the 2+ years i can't stand. i mean literally we were shocked with that community. people helped but,who cares,we help all the time,and honestly it's nobody's duty to freakin help anyone. yeah i said duty-that's the stupidity we came across there-. actually that's why you find someone who likes helping or doesn't mind helping out someone else,it's all the better,i mean that's a nice thing to do. BUT here's my point finally--------------for example i was at the top of my game and role for a long time,and even perfected a special role which nobody else knew how to play well. the reason i was so good is because i could distinguish myself and BE better or the best,BECAUSE OF feat points,kind of like goals accomplished but not really. i really got pissed the other day because i never got to do the curse/cure whatever(which by the way thanks for getting rid of that) the truth is i didn't really miss out on anything,and i don't feel remorseful or urgency to finish anything here. the way the feats worked in dc,is the more you had completed you got a skill point,kind of a perk,but again not really.
the real point is,where the hell is the point and not to mention how do i get to be the best??? the perks,even if completely filled up,what the hell trion and LARS BUTLER AND YOUR PROMISES???? that's not doing much with 8 or7 or whatever perks at one time being used. sorry if i rambled guys,but i'm sick of playing for fun,i play to win,and i don't mind hindering the progress of a story line,to slowly build up skill points/feats/perks whatever makes you better than the next guy,TO BE THE BEST!!! i will play more hours per week(this game) if there was something to do. do you really think that because you have an outfit that i don't have,mind you with NO stats,that you're better??? please
finally LARS,whoever the hell made these promises: MAKE US FIGHT FOR THE TOP SPOTS IN THIS DAMN GAME. i have nothing to do except get in a car to get xp for fun,and maybe open a new perk that i won't use. thanks for reading all my crap

Ain't that the damn truth. I was playing the game for many hours a day but now maybe be a couple hours a week.

I used to drop a ton oc hours in the game during the week. Now, it seems to be more on Mondays and the rest of the week is... ...meh. I have hit the point where I am playing to get my platinum and nothing more. I hit the grind part of the trophies, 50 captures in shadow war and the full rep with all vendors. Honestly, I think I will do this for maybe 2 hours a week and play other stuff. I'm almost sad that I bought the season pass because I don't see anything more coming out than different skins. Not quite a selling point.

I loved the concept and the ideal of the game. Unfortunately, there is nothing after you beat it but arch hunting for recycled gear. Nothing special or any reason to covent orange weapons or outfits. Let down....

yeah it sucks to really play for nothing special,i mean there has to be some kind of damn suits that have stats too,or something that makes us beast. i am WILLING LIKE CRAZY to put in hours in being beast,bypassing everything else everyone is doing,like pvp,mission,anything. i still think the game can be done well,but HEY LARS BUTLER AND DEVS AND CO. ASK US WHAT WE THINK,STOP PUTTING OUT THIS PRODUCT,AND YOU BETTER NOT BE TRYING FOR CHEAP CASH GRABS.
also i wanted to note,this is the absolutle ONLY AND FIRST time i ever bought a brand new 60.00 game,,EVER. don't crew me and everyone else guys. if you need concepts,this is what you do: 1) go to dcuo disgusting forums,hell i'll do it all if you pay me,or pay some freakin intern,then read all HATE MAIL FORUMS POSTS------do the opposite...2) pay attention to what we are asking for on these very forums,YOUR forums. i want to stay but i am a perfectionist and a "hunter",no pun intended. we were called feat hunters,or feat chasers and i dubbed that list of cool things to do the "feat sheet". when i would recruit anyone new to the game,i would always ask,are you happy with your role you picked...that was #1...# 2 and most important question was " do you know what SP(skill points) are??? if not i got to work on them immediately,for a noob there was already 50 feats you could to get sooooo much better right away,maybe the first week. and you know what?????????????? I NEVER STOPPED GETTING THEM,I LOVED IT EVERYTIME I GOT ONE. so trion LARS,WHOEVER THE HELL IS REALLY COMING UP WITH OUR FUTURE,it's not illegal to use that idea. even final fanatsy X had a skill point tree and system that was amazing and ever changing. those were REAL respecs man,not the sh!t we do here,IS NOT a respec man. not at all man. i can't believe this is so easy to have implemented,well maybe not easy at this point,but i would help. hell,i would love a job d coming up with these kinds of ideas,because i understand what we want here. i at least know,what I want here. and that's saying something. anyway guys,thanks again fro reading my crap,and if anyone is looking for buddies to play with,and join a cool clan where we actually talk and have time to know each other and KILL,find me.

There are community activities, such as the death marches they're done in both the European and n.a. servers, although the n.a. is far better organised with car shows and races as well the march

I get what you're saying, i was the same when i first started playing. Mainly because i come from mmo's that you have a role to play, learn and get better at. I too played Dcuo, loved being a healer in that game and it kept me coming back for more.
Defiance unfortunately has no real purpose, grinding Ego is pointless, weapons are pointless, hell everything is pointless.

If you want to keep people playing this game for more than a Monday add crashed arks in remote places that you can loot gear from. Make it a reward for exploring. Take out bunkers of mutants to unlock their armory. Include orange gear in them! Reward us for playing past the main quest. Please!!!!!

Hey princess, I like the game but the replay value for it is quite low. I play other games but I paid for season pass and I want to be engaged while I wait for a shadow war. After waiting for an hour you get bored real easily when you've done all the quest.

It does get abit boring, hopefully that will change! I spend most of my time at arkfalls, looking for those 'perfect' items for sale.

I really don't see how you got my name wrong when it's posted right above your comment. Just like DC Universe, it started off slow. But basically if you don't find it enjoyable right now, why not go spend time on another game you'll actually enjoy. And yeah, I really don't matter. Everything is not going to be perfect to what you want in the game because there will always be someone who wants the opposite or even more. Either play the game and enjoy it or find something that fits what you're looking for in a game. Point, blank, period.

I agree with Avira. Seeing all of these threads complaining that there's nothing to do or that Defiance should have stuff other MMOs have is really getting old. By now the game has developed a loyal following from Trion's target audience. If you find yourself constantly dissatisfied with the game then chances are you are not now nor ever will be a member of said audience.

From the very start this game has been advertised and promoted as a casual MMO gaming experience. It is designed to be accessible to new and veteran players (of Defiance) which means that you can jump into the game at anytime and not feel as though you have fallen behind. It is meant to be a complete opposite to almost every Current MMO. That is why there is no "end game" content or super-ultimate gear.

If you were/are expecting a hardcore MMO experience such as the likes of WoW or even DCUO where leveling, gear acquisition and tactics are vital to success then Defiance will obviously never be the game for you. My advice to you is to get off the developers' backs, stop comparing this game to others and stop raging in hopes of making this game into something it was never meant to be. Simply put, play another game.

I think maybe getting a life would be in order. The game has lots of stuff to do. For those of us who can't spend hours and hours everyday playing, we would prefer that the DLC be tested before it crashes the system.

I understand both sides of what people are saying about Defiance. To some there are tons to do and to some there is not enough to do. I would also remind people that Defiance is still a very new MMO that still has tons of gameplay to come. If you notice when you bought the DLC pack you paid for 5 DLCs in advance meaning over time you will end up with more and more things to do. To sit in the forum and complain about it though is not going to make the DLCs come any faster. To compare Defiance to any MMO that has been out for a extended period of time is kinda stupid because other MMOs are more developed and have already had chances for more gameplay and addons.

I kind of feel like I should suggest running your post through a spelling/grammar checker before you call other peoples intelligence, wisdom, or combination of the two, into question. Though I guess I'm just happy you decided not to try to give me a seizure again in your last post like you did in your first two. For god's sake, man, pick a text color and stick with it.
Jeez, either take a break and come back in a few weeks or just keep grinding for when they finally add leaderboards. If you play as well as you complain you shouldn't have any worries.
