A mod posted in these forums saying you will receive an email once the download is available. He also said it would be earlier in the week so hang tight guys its coming
The download is already available. My friend has had his beta invite for 4 days now. He let me get his login info so I could preload the game. But, I am still waiting on my email from the Zam Beta Key I entered.
But, the beta download is available.
Are you waiting for the actual key from ZAM? It should have been on the page that you registered on.Quote:

you should be at "Defiance Beta". If not switch to it using the menu on teh top. Then there should be a button saying "download beta client".
And to the guy waiting for the ZAM email: Sorry man, they only gave out a limited amount. You had to activate your account and then click the button on the website. It gave you teh key right through there. Are you using yahoo? The ZAM emails don't arrive there for whatever reason. There is still hope though, just follow trion on twitter, they post codes all the time.
If you are registered and recognized as being part of the Defiance Beta the link to download the Beta client is under the "Manage Games" tab at the top of your Trion Worlds Account Management page. Hover the mouse over it and it will list all the games you are currently registered for. Click on the Defiance Beta icon. If the icon for defiance BETA is not there, then you are not signed up yet. That doesn't mean you wont be by the end of the week, it just means you are not yet. The beta client has been available to download and patch since before the stress test.
i cant download it and i have in apply codes listed defiance beta
yes the download has been available since before the stress test but from what i understood it was for only people who were invited to the stress test. The keys they are handing out now are for the beta this weekend. I might be completely wrong on this however i pretty sure this is what the mod on the forums stated
I don't know much about the keys being given out now. All I can comment on is what my experience has been. When I logged into my Trion Worlds account I went to the "manage games" tab and defiance beta was already listed. I clicked it and it took me to the next page that had a link that said "Download Defiance Beta Client"

Maybe the zam codes haven't been activated yet on Trion's end....

I too have the same Defiance game under "manage games" that says the same Welcome Ark Hunter phrase, but I also have a second game called Defiance with the words "BETA" after it listed. That is the one that links to download the client.Quote:

Aha true i do not have a specific tab for the defiance beta indeed, even tho the beta key was accepted ( stands under the apply code tab). I'll guess I/we will have to wait. Patience is a virtue huh ? ( boring tho :p )
I entered a key from ZAM on the twelth, and on APPLY CODES it says I am registered for the beta. However, I have not received an email and I do not have access to download the game. :/
It's the same client. The stress test client and the beta weekend clients are the same. So just patch that one.Quote:

This probably is the answer to the question. The problem is that no one really knows, so waiting seems to be the only option left. It would be cool though if any GM will be able to answer this question just so that we don't have to worry anymore about it.Quote:

Well the BETA session will be going on for 3 days and as most people will try to preload it on Thursday I guess the download will be pretty fast on Friday and even better on Saturday and Sunday... So this might be an option for you, wouldn't it?Quote:

But I still think, that the stress test client will be updated to the beta client.. 2 more days.. yay!
well im registered for the beta on my acount but there is no beta link/download link just a defiance picture but on the apply code tab i can clearly see were i put the beta key so im defo registered as of 3 days ago so not sure whats wrong tbh.
