After a 6 hour wait this is what I got at 2am:

Why promote a program that does not work!!!???
this is laughable.
talk about throwing it in the player-base's face, recruit friends to play a game that is half broken using a system that is also broken.
No way i'm recruiting until this is fixed and working correctly.
When it was first released there was a problem with it and they shut it down without telling anyone, lot of players kept getting a page error. I think it was due to some people exploiting the system to gain stuff, I am not surprised there are now issues again with it.
The fb link on the right side of recruit a friend page is broken and not working for me. I'm a little embarrassed that it's not working and I was going to link it.
Personally I find it hilarious that Sledge removed all the posts from the official recruiting thread and locked it.
We're investigating things - if you play on a console make sure you have it linked!
The only player interested in my recruitment mail has bought the game few days ago because he find a special offer and cannot wait for the reopen of the recruit service.
So now it's the first time I'm in disappointment with trion,I made one person buy the game but I will not receive a reward.
Its not broken.
Ive gotten some of my things. And they are things Ive actually done.
This is another case of ppl going to tech support and lying about stuff. Main reason here.

just like how a countless number of folks went to tech support and lied about the game deleting their legendary guns to get issued new ones.

I know it's the internet and smug jerks are the norm, but try and break the vicious cycle and think for a second that just because an issue doesn't effect you it might be effecting others, thinking will be scary at first but I have faith in you.

Honestly.. With Trion's track record, did you think that it would be fixed on the first attempt?
Don't feed the troll guys. People are reporting it because its an issue. The community manager responded because its an issue. Some people parents basements get lonely sometimes... and they need to come make noise on a video game forum, so they can get the attension that they need.
Only had one friend join so far via it, and that didn't work either, the reward for sending 5 emails, however, did.

Same here. Just got my little brother in on the game and had him sign up, only to find out that his registration to the website was the only thing that I received credit for. He's only played for about an hour or so due to his work schedule, but he's still played the game which means that I should have unlocked the outfit at this point. Instead, I get the shaft. :( That's a baaad looking EMC Heavy suit too........(sob)...Quote:

Sent out some emails so far, those counted. Only one friend has signed up and gotten the game. He linked his account and all (I was there when he was patching the game and made sure he linked the account) and I have yet to unlock the armor as well. I would hope that Trion will fix this and give everyone the rewards they deserve for recruiting people. Especially since more than anything else the reason I did this was to try and get the awesome truck you get for getting 5 people to buy the game. I've got 1 so far but if it doesn't even count why would I bother trying for more? Especially on a game where they've promised us DLC for a while now and have heard nothing on it except a hope that it will be released now in the end of July.
