    Nolan Should Have Killed Rafe..
No way in hell I would let them take my daughter to a freaking concentration camp. He let Amanda stop him, seriously? If he would have died from the plague, Irisa would be a goner. He should have gunned down Rafe's crew and left Defiance with Irisa...please don't tell me Amanda is some great loss...she totally screwed Connor.

yeah, he totally should've killed one of the only reasonable, friendly helpful people in the entire town.

Well first off, it wasn't a concentration camp. Second, he would've have been shot dead by one of Rafe's miners. Third, Irisa asked him to put the gun down.

The Irathians were definitely treated like prisoners..of course Rafe and Amanda aren't going to tell Nolan what it really was.

they were spreading a highly contagious incredibly deadly disease and refused to acknowledge the fact and as usual stupid Irissa just made matters worse by attacking instead of talking. they had every right to be detained to keep the town safe, obviously the moronic guard that went into the area and started the fight was in the wrong, but the irations should have complied in the first place till the sickness could be controlled

If anybody should have been killed, it should have been that idiot female miner who decided to ruin an Irathient prayer, nearly incited a riot, and killed a prisoner.

Allegedly speading the disease. For all we know, they might not have been carrying the disease at all.

yep, patient zero was a human traveling in a Irathient Caravan...

but detaining someone for a dumb reason and then telling someone they can't pray is ******ed... unless their action was endangering lives then you take action.. the Miner's reaction to the prayer was wrong and she should of been removed from her duties and detained to be put on trial.

That does not mean that every single Irathient carried it. It might have been just one. At least not neccesarily ANY of the spirit riders. Anyhow, who can blame them for not wanting to be locked up in the mines, considering what happened to others of their people at the hands of the Castithians (that is, put in caves and gassed to death)?

Carriers or not, I'm getting my kid out of that situation(or at least fight it out) with what was essentially a lynch mob, as they proved later by putting them in cages, then killing one. Irisa could have been killed and she herself said Nolan would get her out..so this was not some nice hotel with 3 meals and cot they put them in..And Amanda knew it, which is why she didn't want to do it in the first place.

And I'm not so sure Nolan would have lost that battle.

as a human my mindset is they can be inconvenienced for a few days if it means myself, my children and my neighbors don't die a horribly painful completely preventable death.

Although I agree that the Irathients had to be quarantined, they went about it wrong, probably due to Rafe's hatred for votans. If they had talked to them, explained it to them, they wouldve gone to an isolated house or something; the irathients mightve been paranoid, but they even prayed for their oppressors, they're reasonable.
When Nolan faced off against Rafe, he had all the right to kill him. Hope to see Nolan do something to get back at Rafe, dudes worse than Datak when it comes to believing his word is law.

I saw a few dents being created that episode.
First one was with Rafe. IMO, Nolan should demand payment for that debt.

The one that should have been stamped "Paid in Full" is at the road block. Nolan should have shot and killed that E-rep *****. And IMO, the E-rep soldiers should respect the rep of Nolan, to allow him to get away with it. Unless being one of the 13 [or what ever] has no impact on status as a warrior.

I wonder if any of them will be revisited in the last few episodes of the season?

That was pretty ridiculous, I can't believe she didn't recieve any punishment for that. She attacked a peaceful Irathient ritual for no real reason and ended up killing someone.

It's possible that she did get punished, we simply did not get to see it.

I do agree the quarantine should have been handled much different, but at the end of the day even if they put them up in a 5 star hotel the iraths would've still revolted about it. and Rath doesn't hate votan's, his housekepper is a little Varus mole person and they get along very well, he hates Datek and with damn good reason

Well she got covered by the other miners. Forgot exactly what the guy said but he lied in her behalf to Stahma. Trash protects trash.

yeah, when he said that "she fear for her life" that more than enough to say that she was not punished.

Ok jumping off the Trion rant for a sec since this is about the show which is made farrrr better and Sci Fi is prob regretting making such an agreement.. whoops er anywho If there is a serious danger and the symptoms show farrr too late for anyone then the best course of action is IMMIDIATE confinement and quarantined the Iraths. It was handled so poorly I was surprised it was spread even further.

Outside the execution of such detainment it was the proper course hands down.
