incendiary Converter Mod Not Available To Use?

Hi folks. I pulled an orange VOT Mazu Blast Rifle from a T4 today with no nano attached. I've been saving an AR/LMG/SMG incendiary converter mod for just such an opportunity. Problem is when I go to attach it to the Mazu its not available to attach. It is available for all my other weapons though.

Are Mazus not able to add nano this way? Is it an orange weapon thing? I want to be excited about this orange (its only my 3rd), but can't love it without some nano effect. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I dont think you can add a converter to any VOT weapons.

yes you can, however do you have a magazine slot to add it too? if there is a free slot and its not moding is likely you have a bugged weapon or mod. you could try putting in a cheap mod clip to see if it works, and then remove it and see if that clears the bug. but I have done it with my mazu blast rifle for the sieges, best weapons ever. make sure you stabilize recoil and aim, that should clear up and of those other issues.

Thanks guys. Bummer if you cannot add a converter to a VOT weapon. For what it's worth too, I don't think the mag slot is bugged because I can add other mag mods to the weapon, just not the converter. Maybe I'll ask Trion to swap it for an identical with fire anyway. :)

This is known bug and they work to solve it.
I cannot add fire converter to my vot fragger as well.
I hope they will have fix on this problem soon.
Because you should be able to add any converter on any corresponding weapon.
