Worst Gun In the Game?

So there I am - enjoying all the additional loot (that i can't pick up my because my inventory is permanently full)

And a Mutant drops an "FRC Heavy Assault Rifle"

One of my main weapons of use is the FRC assault Rifle - which fitted with a scope is brilliant for taking people out at mid-long range - So this must be better right?

WRONG!
what a useless gun.

It looks great, it sounds amazing - fits in with my character well (using VBI/human weapons) but the thing is useless.

Even with maxed out overcharge I'm getting crits below 800 with single shot action.
It could be a good gun - I see someone is selling one with a 3 burst magazine - hmmm that could work. But as a single shot rifle - it's useless - easily the most useless gun I have found in game.

So I was wondering, what are the other weapons so poor that they just become pointless?

Add a burst mod magazine upgrade to the FRC heavy assault rifle and it turns into a beastly gun.

This. An FRC Heavy Assault with a burst mod, overcharge...some of the sickest dps in the game

Yeah the FRC Heavy Assault Rifle as a unmodified weapon.. its terrible. With a three round burst magazine and a crit barrel.. its probably the most powerful and out of balance gun in the game. It has no recoil when fired in burst... meaning three very high damage rounds all go EXACTLY where you point the crosshairs. And being an assault rifle it has good range as well with minimal fall off. Its only weakness is the small magazine, but its got a fairly fast base reload and the fact that it kills most things with one burst anyways makes it not so much an issue.

I would sell my first born for an orange one with good stats. Probably over any other weapon in the game.

To me the worst weapon in the game is the VOT Disruptor .. I want it to be good, its probably the best model in the game... but GOD DOES IT SUCK. It sucks so bad it should of been named the VOT Black Hole.

I'll agree on the VOT Disruptor. It's just not practical. If you want something like the Disruptor, the VOT Mazu Blaster gives you that.

Hmm I suspected anything that crap must be good somehow - I hope I have not turned it into green numbers then, (does anyone have an idea where / what slot the burst round mod go's on?)

I'd imagine it would do better crit damage than the wolfhound pistol (which I am loving)

as for the VOT disrupter - agree completely - If it was even marginally usable I would use it just for the model - but it's just too bad.

There are a lot of weapons that are sucky, that's why people stick to these brands:

AR: VBI Assault Rifle
LMG: FRC/Frontier SAW
SMG: VOT/Votan Pulser

Truthfully there's only like, two weapons I find to be absolutely useless in the game. The VOT Disruptor and regular rocket launcher.
Regular rocket launcher has less damage than the VBI Armada (The 3 shot one); but you can cancel out the shooting with the Armada.

I for one really enjoy the VBI SMG too.

there's a pistol with single shot single mag. Or the inoculator infector single shot.
