As I said, the magazine is too small for practical use unless your opponents fall in one burst.

Pretty much all sniper rifles will do that. The bolter has the disadvantage that it's lower damage than every other sniper rifle out there.

I used to think the Armada was awesome and used it all the time. It's really great if your target is immobile. against a moving target, unless you're an amazing shot, you're going to waste a lot of the ammo you don't have and are using up at 3 shots put trigger pull.

So, while I agree that most weapons have a place and the ones people don't like are just misunderstood... I think you're overplaying the benefits of those weapons.

I dont know why so many people are placing the hate on the VOT Blast Rifles, yes it does 40, but its 40x3, making its fire rate 45... that makes it a MONSTER. Treat it like a cross between a SMG and a Shotty... and viola one beastly gun... especially with a 1.5 mag booster, 1.15 crit booster, and the hipfire accuracy scope, and bloom and recoil stock... its one of those "ooo baby" moments.

My personal "worst" gun in the game is the Sluggers... what is the point of a shotty having 1 pellet, and only doing upto 800 damage, it doesnt even have a good crit multiplier, I would rather use the clustershot anyday.

I also agree that non-linking BMGs are useless, and magnums just dont cut it, not when you could be using a wolfhound with a 5.1 crit multiplier :D I have a syphon one that just eats people... litterally it eats them, then burps out heals.

"With a burst magazine it's great" = "I'm bad at tapping the fire button"

The Heavy Assault Carbine is a beast with or without a burst mag. It may even be more of a beast without one because you can give it a larger magazine to take more shots between reloads and it doesn't burn through them 3 at a time whether you want to or not. It's not like it has a slow rate of fire; it can basically fire as fast as you can tap the trigger. The burst mag just makes it more forgiving of slow button tapping.

I just dont like the built in scope on the Heavy Assault Carbine. The scopes in this game are horrible. Its an all around good weapon, but scopes really kill it IMO.

Not really a fan of LMGs not named SAW. I'll use a VBI/EMC LMG every now and then but the others dont seem worth it.

Heavy Assault Carbine: Don't use. Have an awesome orange incendiary VBI AR, don't need another assault rifle
Wolverine: My favorite pistol in the game! My orange syphon one is a BEAST
Meteor Bolter: while the regular bolter is my favorite, I had an offer for my orange syphon assassin one. Took not even half the items I got for that and traded for an orange syphon assassin meteor bolter. Knockback is better on the meteor, and always guaranteed on the 1st shot. Mixed with the right perks (intimidation, shadowed strike/cloaked, etc) this thing is a 2-hitter quitter.
Armada: Just like most RLs, not a primary weapon. I like to shoot the missles off at a group of enemies at a distance (mixed w/ perks like ambush), then switch to a primary to finish the job. Plus my orange one has +1.00 full dmg radius, quartermaster, and 10% ego recharge on full reload so it works out pretty nice.

Not overplaying benefits. Experimenting with opportunities.

My one and only Orange is a FRC heavy it has awsome stats fire rate crit mult base crit and I put a +3 burst in it. Outlaw syn I will never sell it though its my main go to. 1.25x crit 1.10x crit and a 10% crit multiplier for incoming just makes it to sick in pvp.

As for worst I dislike the mazu I have a epic with good stats a 84 round clip with a 1.10 damage on it and its just meh.

Have to agree, I have tried to like the other LMG but they just don't do the job.. too much bloom.

Most of the other guns can be worked around, mods fix them (flare gun with a +12 mag soon becomes useful) but I haven't found anything for the LMG. I see everyone with SAW and warning signs tell me its too heavily used and I should use other things, so I leveled up SMG first.

VBI and EMC LMG's hardly have bloom though? They get better as you shoot them...
Shame about their damage though.

i bought the EMC LMG from the rep shop and tried it out, its damage was what let it down. The SAW seems to do double what any other LMG puts out, so unless I am missing something, its a 1 horse race. Sure, it has recoil issues but that is pretty easy to work around.

Yeah, that's pretty much it. SAW is pretty much one of the top 3 weapons in the game, next to the Wolfhound and Heavy Assault Carbine+Burst Mod.

I don't think the SAW has a fall off damage either? Unless it's really far away...

I like the VBI LMG, but when I use a SAW in the head it takes the enemy down in half the time any other LMG would... three times faster if you're comparing the Disruptor lol.
