It took me until I was EGO 1000, with my bad@$$ boomer! Once you get where he splits himself up into more of him, bottleneck them in the middle of the room. Go here if you need more help http://www.defiancedata.com/ ;)

2 BMG's and overcharge will make Nim your little pet!
Run backwards with a combat shotgun and roll out of the way when he charges for the first part. AR or SAW at a distance and shotgun up close for the rest.
Or just hide inside a pillar and blast away until they fix the new patch.
The last stage is easier if you use the center pillar in the middle of the room instead of the smaller ones that are farther away. It's bigger, so it's easier to be sure that it's between you and him when he does his slam attack, but you can see through it, so you know when he's done and you can step around it to give him a smacking.
Also, if you have a BMG, you can safely use a high-capacity shield with a slow recharge time because you can use the BMG to recharge it without waiting for it to recharge on its own.
I put on 7 defensive perks, used a Cluster Shot and SAW. Took about 25 mins or so. 1st Phase, dodge his charge attack which is telegraphed, spam the clustershot in-between. 2nd Phase, aoe the clones with cluster, switch to SAW when they go to the balcony. 3rd phase, cluster shot only, LOS his telegraphed blast with a column, kite the melee around the column. I only died once. I crouched (defensive perk) and did not move (defensive perk) most of the time in phase 1 and all of the time in phase 2. I moved all the time in Phase 3. I had a Respark IV with 25% health regen and fire res. That's the most important item after having all defensive perks. I had cloak but never used it. It's pretty useless in that fight. I suppose Overload or Decoy would be better.
