If you are already logged into your Trion account this link should take you to the right page

Go to trionworlds.com
Sign in, if you do not have a account make one
After signing in click on a tab that says apply code
Imput your code
if anyone finds that this is incorrect please forgive me :)

then go to "Manage Games"
Choose your platform
But no downloads yet..have to wait

my manage games section does not have a place to choose a platform. just says I am one step closer.

Most likely the key was for PC Beta so it didn't give you an option. The betas for other platforms will be occurring at a later date and those might require a different key, but please do not quote me on this, it is all speculation.
