Help! How do I get my 30% off?

I was recruited by email via the recruit-a-friend thingy. I duly clicked through and created an account and would like to buy the game. However, when I log in there doesn't seem to be anything offering me my promised 30% off. I would have expected it to be spamming me about it, but it only has a "Buy now" button which goes to full price purchase. Any idea how I get my discount? Thanks in advance for your help.

Okay, I figured it out. You have to click Buy Now, then Download Client and then start the purchase process from there and the discount is automatically taken off. Pff. Easy when you know how.

In the Trion Worlds payment section click on redeem codes to see a list of codes currently active. You can hopefully get to it by clicking this: https://defiancepc.trionworlds.com/c...m-voucher-flow

This will show you a list of codes you have already applied. You should see recruit-a-friend in the list of codes. For me it took a few hours to show up and still didn't activate until after I had downloaded the client and logged into it.

After downloading, the client then says, hang on you haven't paid. I went into Buy Now again, not expecting any change, but the price had reduced by 30% at last. Good luck, they don't make it too easy.
