stalker synergy on AR/lmg?

Can someone plz explain the benefits of having stalker on an AR/lmg if any?

Most of the synergies I've seen seem pretty useless. alot of stupid bonuses that aren't very helpful.

It's right in the description. Extended range first off. Which extends how far you can shoot before falloff dmg kicks in. Then you have ego refresh on crit kill. Both are very useful.

Most synergies are useful, but some are better than others. Assassin on a sniper or wolfhound=beautiful. Whereas Brutal on a sniper sucks, but is good for close range weapons. If someone says all synergies are useless, they don't know how to play this game.

Thanks. I know the ego refresh is self explanatory. Wasnt sure if range was referring to falloff damage cuz I never seem to notice a difference in damage when I'm farther away from target

I pretty much know the rest. Was just seeing if range really affected lmgs. Thanks tho
