the infectors are over powered and need a nerf its making the competitive multi play to difficult when going against infectors because its like you see the person and instantly your like great dead again to that bull crap

Nerfing weapons will not solve your problem of having little to no skill. You will still die, and you will still whine and cry about what is killing you. The problem lies with you, not the weapon.

I am for BUFFING other weapons in the game. The problem when you start to nerf weapons (regardless what weapon it is), is that you hurt the game. Everyone has a wide selection of weapons to choose from in the game. Everyone is able to choose what they like to suite their personal game style. There is no written rule on what weapon people should use or not use, nor should there ever be one.

If you have a problem with someone who uses a certain gun. There are solutions to your problem.
1) STOP being a baby and man up to the fact that you get owned
2) Use a different gun to counter it (yes there are guns that will counter infectors)
3) Practice and get better to find ways around you always dying. Basically, learn to play better.

If you are unable to adapt, you will get crushed...plain and simple. If you can't handle it. Go play another game.

I agree with you 100%. I kill most infector players I come across. They are not that hard. Just use skill and your mind. The only thing it seems to me is that they are the noob weapons of the game. Everybody and their uncle are using them, and most are horrible with them. The only thing that was annoying about them, was the nano glitch. But that was fixed.

Just a FYI I find it funny chrome complaining about the infectors, when he uses the bmgs to glitch his shield out, and uses a glitch with the Guardian Ark shield that makes it impossible to damage him.

This is actually a very intelligent response. I am also for a buff. Either way would make me happy. Not a buff in power. But a bump in accuracy. Shots on target. I do just fine in PvP. I don't mind getting owned. I hate bug guns and bunny hoppers. I like ghost shotty. My shotty got nerfed!!! So should the bug guns. Period end of my story.

i agree buffing other weapons (except shotguns since they arleady seem to rip ppl to shreds and cloak lets them do so easily and uninturrupted making it still as powerful as ever) . But as far as infectors its not so much as theyre powerful , so much as to they distort your vision making them annoying. You take care of that and the gun will seem as powerful as any. And to the ppl that are going they kill faster then a saw , id like to have your infector , cause i see some saws Drop ppl in 2 shots (not just me , ive partied with other ppl and they get killed by the same guy , odds are the ppl that are dropping ppl in a second are using some form of EXPLOIT rather then the gun be god mode powerful , but get off your high horse , ive yet to see an immunizer or canker drop me that fast in comparison to a saw from someone that was playing legit , and yes ive confirmed the ones that DID use some kind of exploit / glitch with them admitting it.) Remove the infector growths so they dont screw with our vision , so long as thats there , the guns will still be annoying and making them FEEL more powerful then they are.

I still think its funny that Adreno will come on hear to whine about infectors and admit to exploitin a shield glitching all in the same breath. I agree that some guns shld be buffed as I agree that the infection from the gun shld not obstruct your line of sight. That being said I don't really think that would stop your whinning. Its people like you who exploit glitches in the game that make things ridiculous. I started playing pvp using my assault carbine and gp and did ok considering that at the time shottys hadn't been nurfed and then had to contend with shield glitchers after. I still switch it up and use my carbine, bmg, boomer, sludge rocket and whatever else I feel like playing with that day. Yes my go to set up is my outbreaker boomer combo, it may or may not kill you depending on if your shield glitching, but I don't glitch. I use what I weapons i worked to get either out of a box, on the forums or in trade. Then set up classes according to what combo I may want to try that day, not according to a glitch. I didn't set up classes around a glitch and I don't remeber you on here complaining that your shield wouldn't break, allowing you to suvive more often then you should because of your glitched shield. Plenty of people adapt and evolve with the game, that's the whole point, just like they adapted to you shield and now your on here whining....buff some weapons, don't let the infetion obstruct sight and you'd find a way to, exploit the game and complain about somthing else.

Problems with the detonators, there's a perk for that.

To be specific, it's not all infectors that need to be nerfed, just the exploit making immunizers fully automatic.
I don't have any problem with close range infectors.

So is this thread about infectors or my shield?? I'm confused... You guys are so funny. If i used my shield glitch in an offensive manner there would five threads started today about it. I don't. I have never exploited it. This thread has degraded to a small number of people who don't like me killing them trying to call me a cheater. Your bug guns are cheap and you know it. (1) They impair your vision (2) they require no skill to aim (3) they continue to do damage in large numbers after the user is dead (3) if said user gets a kill... he then has an army of bugs to defend him... which even an overcharged legendary saw isn't going to do crap against. When you are approaching the target and ten bugs do 5000 pts damage without you ever being hit by a bug gun. then you do hit me with one needle and kill me. Tea bag me like it was a great kill and repeat.... I'm real impressed....
