    DOnt get me wrong, I think they are pretty challenging, but I was still soloing them. Just takes being smart and using cover, being patient. Thats all.

    I want them nerfed.

    Well, that or fix the stupid respawn points so you don't get sent back 5 minutes every time you die when doing emergencies.

    Anyway, people have complained about the game being 'too difficult' since it launched. Hell, some of them can't even get past ****ing Jackleg Joe. That **** needs to stop.

    Out of curiosity, are emergencies scalable? I don't mean "do they scale," as they currently don't, but CAN they? That would certainly seem to be a "best of both worlds" solution for those who are being overwhelmed (especially newer and lower level players) and those who feel they want to face the Volge in groups or are so overpowered as to want the Volge to be even stronger.

    They are not scalable outside of the fact, the more people that show up, the more bullets they take. This is easy to see with Arkfalls, if you catch one alone, it is easy to destroy. When the wolf pack of 100+ people shows up, it becomes a bloody tank.

    The programmers would be unable to scale the number of Volge based on the number of players? I know they don't right now, but that would seem to be a possible option.

    And, yes, some will say "yeah, but see, there are three, so if more people show up, where do the other few come from," but I've gone into at least four Volge encounters where I'll wipe out the few at the start, and then several more just show up out of nowhere, so obviously the whole "where'd they come from?" continuity issue isn't something currently a concern to the developers.

    Is it just me or am I farming quite a lot of blue weapons from these Volge, I like it.

    Volge dont need a nerf. They arent as hard as a group of dark matter with a bulwark imo. Viscera are supposed to be the hardest, but theyre the easiest volge to defeat one on one.... The ones that give me a challenge are the bombers. And even a whole group does not warrant a nerf. Ppl just need to get better instead of crying nerf. Because thats the bane of any video games existance. This game is NOT hard. Not to the point of nerfing it so any 3yo can beat it without dying. If i, and tons of others can solo a volge emergency, then you guys/gals can too with some practice. If your constantly dying then you should try doing something different, finding cover, using cloak when your near death. Get a strategy instead of just running in guns blazing. Volge really arent the hardest thing in the game once you learn thier movements.

    The volge encounters have waves, theres the initial 3 or 4, then ego says theyve sent in reinforcements, then you take those out and ego says the elite unit was sent in. 3 waves to every volge encounter that ive been in all day long. Whether im alone, or with 10 others, theres always more that show up.

    Exactly. So if they can do that, then there's no need to nerf, but they could potentially scale the number of Volge who arrive based on the number of players present. That's what I mean by a solution that would mollify all sides of the issue.
